World Cup Best Player Prop Picks, Odds, Predictions for Thursday, June 25, 2026

We have six 2026 World Cup matches on Thursday as Groups D, E and F draw to a conclusion. In Group D, the USA have already clinched first place, with Australia and Paraguay fighting it out for second as Turkiye have already been eliminated.

Germany have claimed top spot in Group E, but all three of the remaining sides in that Group, Ivory Coast, Ecuador and Curacao, can all finish in second place. As for Group F, all three of the Netherlands, Japan and Sweden can still take first place, with Tunisia already eliminated.

Thursday promises to be an enthralling World Cup day! The games in each Group will kick off simultaneously. We begin the day with Group E, where Curacao take on Ivory Coast and Ecuador play Germany, both games kick off at 4pm ET. Then, we see the conclusion of Group F as Tunisia face the Netherlands and Japan up against Sweden, a 7pm ET kick off time for those fixtures.

We end the day in Group D, with co-hosts USA playing Turkiye and Paraguay take on Australia in a battle for second place at 10pm ET.

Let’s look at the best player prop picks for Thursday’s World Cup games. Be sure to check out our World Cup match trends page for daily odds, insights, and betting data for each game.

Thursday’s Best 2026 World Cup Player Prop Picks

      • Andres Cubas (Paraguay) Over 0.5 Bookings (+333)
      • Enner Valencia (Ecuador) Over 1.5 Shots
      • Denzel Dumfries (Netherlands) Over 0.5 Assist

Andres Cubas (Paraguay) Over 0.5 Bookings (+333)

While Andres Cubas hasn’t yet been booked in this year’s World Cup, the defensive midfielder tops the FIFA stats for most fouls given away so far in the competition. Cubas is no stranger to the yellow card, picking up five bookings in 11 MLS fixtures and 7 in 17 games in all competitions for his side Vancouver Whitecaps so far in the 2026 campaign.

In a winner-takes-all fixture against Australia, where the winning side will take the second automatic Knockout Round qualifying spot, I can see Cubas being amongst the thick of the action to say the least. A draw or a defeat will see Paraguay finish in third place, and while that might be enough to qualify as a best third place ranked team, Cubas and his teammates will be fighting to clinch that automatic spot.

Enner Valencia (Ecuador) Over 1.5 Shots

Ecuador are yet to score in this year’s World Cup, but it isn’t for the lack of trying. They’ve had 39 shots on goal in their two matches so far, 27 alone coming against Curacao. Creating chances isn’t the problem for the South American side, it’s converting them.

They’re up against Germany in their Final Group game knowing only a win would give them a realistic chance of reaching the Knockout Stages. Even that might be enough to give Ecuador second place, depending on Ivory Coast’s result against Curacao.

However, you can expect Ecuador to be knocking on the door as they fight to keep their World Cup dreams alive. For my player prop bet, I’m turning to Enner Valencia. So far in this year’s competition, Valencia has had eight shots on goal, with five on target. Whether he can finally find the back of the net remains to be seen, but he’s my shout to testing Manuel Neuer and the Group E winners often.

Denzel Dumfries (Netherlands) Over 0.5 Assist

The new Real Madrid right-back had an incredible game for his country as the Netherlands dismantled Sweden in a 5-1 victory last time out. Dumfries grabbed himself two assists in a fantastic display, and he’s my choice to get another against Tunisia.

The Netherlands have all but qualified for the Knockout Stage, but they’ll be looking to rubber stamp that Group Winner spot. Tunisia have had a World Cup to forget and have already been eliminated.

For me, Dumfries down the right hand side for the Netherlands will cause the Tunisians all kinds of problems. Odds of +290 for the right back to add to his assists record are attractive to me.
