Derrius Guice - Washington didn’t have many injuries to start the 2018 season, but Derrius Guice was a big blow. He will miss his rookie season with an ACL tear, and will look to come back before 2019. This led to Adrian Peterson signing in Washington, but also Chris Thompson continuing his expanded role within the offense. If Guice doesn’t get injured, we wouldn’t be looking at Adrian Peterson starting in 2018. Washington should continue to focus on a balanced offense moving forward, with each back having their own role.
We can probably start with Robert Griffin III here, who was drafted behind Andrew Luck and that was supposed to be a quarterback duo to set the league in motion for years to come. Both have significant injuries to their name, but we are now looking at RGIII being just a roster guy now. The Washington organization can have a lot of blame after clearing him with a LCL sprain, and pushing him in bad conditions for more weeks to follow. He eventually had to have surgery on his LCL and ACL. Griffin was then rushed back for next season, and more controversy came about. He finished the season, but did not look like himself. In the 2014 season, RGIII dislocated his left ankle. and that is when he started to slip behind the
