Arizona Cardinals vs Los Angeles Rams: Betting Odds, Prediction, Depth Chart (11/13/22)
Contents
The Arizona Cardinals visit the Los Angeles Rams in Week 10 of the 2022 NFL Season. The Cardinals are coming off a loss to the Seahawks last week, while the Rams are coming off a loss to the Buccaneers last week too. This matchup should be interesting for the NFC West pecking order. Let’s take a look at the odds and make some picks and predictions for this game!
Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams Betting Odds
The Los Angeles Rams are 1.5-point home favorites against the Arizona Cardinals and are at -125 on the money line. The over/under is also at 40.5. It makes sense that the Rams are a favorite here because they are at home. They have been struggling just as much as the Cardinals are this year. There’s also a high probability that both quarterbacks for each of these teams don’t play in this game due to injury. The over/under makes sense too because both of these offenses have been struggling even though they both have good pieces to build around. This spread is so low there’s a good chance it could move around a bit especially when news comes out about injuries for both team’s quarterbacks.
Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams Prediction
The pick: Rams -1.5
Neither of these teams have any reason for you to pick them at all. Both of these teams have been very disappointing up to this point and maybe a win here could turn things around for either one. The Rams are the better team talent wise and coaching wise. Kliff Kingsbury seems like he may be on his way out the door, while Sean McVay also has wandering eyes towards retirement, but his team is still buying in to him. The calling cards for both of these teams should be their offenses, but both are struggling. The Cardinals are averaging 23 points and 359 total yards a game, while the Rams are averaging 16 points and 311 total yards a game. The Cardinals have underachieved on offense and that’s cost them on the defensive side too. The Los Angeles Rams are just due to get things back together. There’s a lot of talent on this team, especially on the defensive side of the ball. The defense allows 22 points and 325 yards a game up to this point. The Rams are the better and more talented team here, and even if they start John Wolford over Matthew Stafford on offense they are still the pick to make here.

Key Matchups
Check out the key matchups and mismatches for Arizona Cardinals vs Los Angeles Rams below.
Cooper Kupp vs the Cardinals Secondary
Cooper Kupp is probably the best wide receiver in the NFL. He has 72 receptions, 813 receiving yards, and six receiving touchdowns on the year so far. His best game was last week against the Buccaneers when he had eight receptions, 127 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown. He’s continued his hot streak from last year, after he broke all sorts of receiving records. The Cardinals allow 268 passing yards a game, which will benefit Kupp a lot in this game. Kupp is the biggest key for the Rams offense, and he needs to have a good game in order for them to have a shot here, regardless of who’s the quarterback.
DeAndre Hopkins vs the Rams Secondary
DeAndre Hopkins has been great ever since he came back from suspension. He has 26 receptions, 298 receiving yards, and two touchdowns in the three games that he’s played in since he’s come back. His best game was two games ago against the Vikings when he had 12 catches, 159 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown. He’s come back and hasn’t missed a beat. He’s acted as the safety valve for Kyler Murray. The Rams allow 227 passing yards a game and Hopkins can have a big impact here, even if he’s being guarded by Jalen Ramsey. Hopkins will remain a key for the Cardinals offense this week, regardless of who plays quarterback.
