2026 Travelers Championship: Top DraftKings Showdown Plays & Live Bets Ahead of Round 4

Just one round remains at the 2026 Travelers Championship, and it is shaping up to be a clash of the titans between Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler. Hovland was three strokes better than Scheffler on Saturday, giving him a one-stroke cushion at 20-under-par heading into the final round. Patrick Cantlay and Akshay Bhatia appear to be the only other players within reach of Hovland’s lead, each 15 under par through their first three rounds.

Looking ahead, we have new data at our disposal to adjust our approach in DFS formats before Round 4 gets underway on Saturday. Conditions were firmer and drier on Saturday, but birdies were still plentiful at TPC River Highlands. The course should get firmer as we head into the final round. Ahead, we’ll look to identify the players who have shown they are most due for a Round 4 breakout.

Take a look at some of the best pillar players for the 2026 Travelers Championship DFS contests and live betting opportunities.

DraftKings Showdown Golf Strategy

DraftKings Golf Showdown Golf is a one-round Daily Fantasy format in which players aim to construct the best-scoring one-round lineup while staying within the allotted salary cap. To identify value in Golf Showdown, it’s typically best to focus on buy-low opportunities on players who’ve shown uncharacteristically poor putting in the prior round. There is also an opportunity to find leverage by identifying favorable weather splits and players who are more likely to card birdies-or-better.

Round 4 Travelers Championship Showdown Pillar Plays

As expected, birdies have been much easier to come by at TPC River Highlands than we saw at Shinnecock Hills in the week prior. TPC River Highlands is not a pure birdie fest, but it is the type of TPC venue that allows in-form ball-strikers to go on a hot run. It’s no surprise we’ve seen multiple players break 60 over the years at this event, and Scheffler was just one stroke shy of joining that company on Friday. Looking ahead, it is going to take a combination of driving accuracy, elite wedge play, and a streaky putter to go low at TPC River Highlands.

Identifying value players who check each of these boxes can provide valuable bonus points in the DraftKings Showdown format. The three players below will be foundational plays in my Round 4 Showdown lineups for these reasons.

Matt Fitzpatrick ($10,700)

I watched Matt Fitzpatrick closely at last week’s US Open, both on TV and on the grounds at Shinnecock Hills. He seemed invincible all week from tee-to-green, but simply could not put himself in position to score off-the-tee with any consistency. It was those struggles off the tee that kept me from backing Fitzpatrick to win this week, but lo and behold, that appears to be the part of the game he’s worked hardest on over the last week. Fitzpatrick ransk 1st in the field in Driving Accuracy, 7th in SG: OTT, and 4th in SG: T2G.

That all amounts to 13-under-par through three rounds, and T5 for the tournament for Fitzpatrick. One of the better putters in this field, he’s likely disappointed to rank just 43rd in this field of 72 in SG: Putting. We know he’s capable of catching fire with the putter, and has finishes of 1st and T2 on Pete Dye’s venues, Harbour Town and TPC Sawgrass, this season already. If he can get a little more out of the putter on Sunday, he’ll secure yet another Pete Dye top-5 for his resumé.

Brian Harman ($7,900)

Not dissimilar from Matt Fitzpatrick, Brian Harman is a veteran who you simply expect to figure things out on the greens over the course of four rounds. He hasn’t done so yet, ranking 58th in SG: Putting through the first three, but his history at TPC River Highlands should give us every reason to believe he will get more putts to drop in round 4. Harman was the best in the field on Saturday in terms of SG: T2G, en route to a round of 63, which catapulted him to 11 under par and T14 for the tournament.

Harman has a streak of five consecutive top-10 finishes at the Travelers Championship on the line this Sunday, so even if he does find himself nine strokes off the lead, he still has plenty to play for in his final round. Harman ranks 6th in Driving Accuracy and 3rd in SG: APP for the tournament, two of the most sustainable pathways to finding birdies around TPC River Highlands.

Matt McCarty ($6,000)

The cheapest-priced player on the DraftKings Round 4 Showdown slate has plenty of promise for fantasy players looking to cram multiple stars into their lineups. McCarty has a strong chance to push inside the top-20 by the tournament’s end, as he is currently T33 and coming off of his best round of the week, a 7-under 63 on Saturday.

McCarty gained an eye-popping 4.5 strokes on approach in Round 3, which is 1.5 more than the second-best approach player today. He is No. 1 for the week in SG: APP, which is the most important stat to consider for players looking to make a charge at TPC River Highlands. McCarty ranks 12th in SG: T2G, but simply has not gotten anything going on the greens thus far. If he can turn things around with the flat stick, he’s fully capable of firing another 63 on Sunday.

Live Bets To Consider Entering Round 4

Tournament Matchup: Si Woo Kim over Sam Burns

Best Available odds: -122

This is a tightly contested matchup between two players who are ideal course hits in red-hot form, and are each holding a tie for 10th place heading into the final round. There were some lingering concerns about whether Sam Burns could turn the page from the emotional high of a runner-up finish at the US Open. He’s done an excellent job staying focused on the task at hand to this point, but you have to wonder if an 8-stroke deficit leading into the final round may cause him to lose his edge a bit.

Si Woo Kim has continued his hot 2026 season this week, and has surprisingly been the better putter of the two in this matchup thus far. TPC River Highlands is an ideal course fit for Kim, who is known best for his driving accuracy and world-class wedge play. Kim is one of the most dangerous players on Tour when his putter is dialed in, and I expect him to finish strong on Sunday.

Top 20 Finisher: Kurt Kitayama

Best Available odds: +194

I was high on Kitayama to make a charge in round 3, but unfortunately, a cold putter kept him in neutral throughout the day. Even still, he finds himself T28 through three rounds, just two strokes off the pace for a top-20 finish. His entire 2026 season has been carried by the strength of his ball striking, and that has remained true at TPC River Highlands. He ranks 2nd in SG: Approach, 5th in SG: Ball Striking, and 12th in SG: T2G through the first three rounds.

We saw Kitayama capitalize on soft and calm conditions with an early tee time at the PGA Championship, where he shot the low round of the day on Sunday. I would see a free-swinging Kitayama pull off a similar feat on Sunday at the Travelers as he looks to charge up the leaderboard in the final Signature Event of the season.

Best of luck with your Travelers Championship DFS lineups and bets!
