Best Soccer DFS & Goal Scoring Picks for Matches on Tuesday, April 21, 2026

Football fans will have several matches across Europe’s top leagues to wager on this Tuesday afternoon.

The English Premier League kicks off matchweek 34 with Chelsea traveling to American Express Stadium to take on Brighton.

  • Brighton vs. Chelsea – 3:00 p.m./USA

These two clubs sit just one point apart in the EPL table with just five games left in the season.

The Club World Cup Champions’ form under newly appointed manager Liam Rosenior has taken a significant hit in the domestic league of late. Chelsea has failed to score a goal in four straight EPL matches in a drought that has spanned over a month.

Meanwhile, Brighton has looked much stronger in the second half of the season and is primed to finish with a European tournament spot next year, should they keep this up. Brighton has lost just one of their last seven matches in the EPL, winning five and drawing in their last match against Tottenham.

Moving over to Spain, La Liga has a four-game slate scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.

  • Bilbao vs. Osasuna – 1:00 p.m./ESPN+
  • Mallorca vs. Valencia – 1:00 p.m./ESPN+
  • Girona vs. Real Betis – 3:30 p.m./ESPN+
  • Real Madrid vs. Alaves – 3:30 p.m./ESPN+

Athletic Club hosts Osasuna at the San Mames in Bilbao for the first match of the day. Atletico enters the match as slight favorites, with both clubs still vying for a European tournament spot before the season ends. These two mid-table clubs sit just one point apart, and drew 1-1 when they met earlier this season.

Meanwhile, over 400 miles away, Mallorca will host Valencia simultaneously at the Estadi de Son Moix. Both clubs will be eager for a result this late into the season, as Valencia currently sits three points above the relegation zone, whilst Mallorca sits just two points above the 18th-placed Elche.

A bit later in the afternoon, 12th-placed Girona will host Real Betis at the Estadi Montilivi. Real Betis could all but lock up their spot in the Europa League next season if they can secure three points here on the road. On the other hand, Girona is likely going to finish somewhere in the middle of the table, barring a monumental collapse or improbable winning streak to finish the season.

La Liga’s final match of the day is headlined by Real Madrid, who will host Alaves at the Bernabeu. Real Madrid will likely finish as runners-up to Barcelona for the second straight season. Even with a victory here, Madrid would need Barcelona to lose at least three of their last seven games, while going perfect in that span themselves. Meanwhile, Alaves will need a miracle as heavy road underdogs in this match. The North Spainard club sits just one point above the relegation zone with a difficult schedule ahead.

Best Soccer DFS Picks for Tuesday’s Matches

Enzo Fernandez, Chelsea ($13,500)

Enzo Fernandez will captain our lineup for this single-game DFS contest at $13,500. The Argentine midfielder has had a tremendous season in terms of goal contributions, up to 11 G/A now in the EPL.

Fernandez returned to action for the Blues over the weekend after serving a two-game suspension handed out by the club. In his first game back, Fernandez was arguably Chelsea’s player, despite losing 1-0 to Manchester United.

Chelsea’s #8 has proven to be world-class in all three facets of the game and should have a great impact on a Chelsea squad desperate for a win.

Cole Palmer, Chelsea ($10,400)

In our first flex position, we went with another Chelsea midfielder, Cole Palmer. In a recent interview, Palmer mentioned that his down year has largely been attributed to his fitness not being quite there. Even so, we have seen flashes of the Palmer we all know this season, and in a big matchup here, I can see him stepping up.

The English international will likely be Chelsea’s primary scoring threat with Estevao ruled out for this game, and fellow Brazilian, Joao Pedro, is still doubtful to participate in his second straight game.

Danny Welbeck, Brighton ($8,200)

Danny Welbeck will be excited about Tuesday afternoon’s match, given his history against Chelsea throughout his career. Since joining Brighton, Welbeck has scored six goals in eight games vs. Chelsea, including a brace off the bench to defeat the Blues earlier this season.

Welbeck failed to score in his last two starts, but did have a brace against Liverpool last month. The veteran striker has come up big when it’s mattered most, and could find the back of the net against a struggling Chelsea side.

Kaoru Mitoma, Brighton ($7,600)

Kaoru Mitoma will look to build off of last week’s performance, where he scored in the EPL for the first time since January. The Japanese winger has had a relatively underwhelming season at Brighton, scoring just three goals and tacking on one assist.

Mitoma has looked promising over the last month, scoring for Japan over the International Break and now just three days ago vs. Tottenham. At $7,600, Mitoma is a solid budget winger option who will have space on the left-hand side with Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella often times getting forward.

Malo Gusto, Chelsea ($4,000)

With first-choice right back Reece James out for the foreseeable future, Rosenior will continue to feature Malo Gusto on the right-hand flank. Gusto has started each of Chelsea’s last three games across all competitions, picking up an assist in that span.

The French defender has shown a knack for getting forward and creating chances, whilst also being solid in defense when needed. At just $4,000, Gusto has a big upside should he find a goal contribution in this match.

Liam Delap, Chelsea ($6,000)

With Pedro’s availability for this match still in question, Liam Delap is currently set to start his second-straight match for Chelsea after struggling for playing time for much of the season.

The English striker has not delivered the output that many expected when he moved to Chelsea over the summer. Even so, Delap will have the luxury of playing in front of some of the best playmakers in the world in Palmer and Fernandez. Delap should have several chances created for him in this game, and for just $6,000, his price is unbeatable.

Best Soccer Goal Scoring Pick for Tuesday

Best Bet: Vinicius Junior

The best goal-scoring pick for Tuesday’s matches is Vinicius Junior vs. Alaves. The Brazilian winger has scored two goals in his last three La Liga games and has a solid record against Alaves over the past few seasons.

Since 2019, Vini has five goals and two assists in just 576 minutes against the Vitoria-based club.
