Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers Preview, Picks, & Best Bets (11/11/25)
Philadelphia hosts Boston at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. Although the matchup does not stack up to the days of Julius Erving and Larry Bird, it should still be an exciting game between teams that have no love for each other.

Celtics vs. 76ers Best Bets & Picks
Here is the best bet for this matchup.
Jaylen Brown Over 26.5 Points (-119 DraftKings)
Jaylen Brown leads the NBA in field goal attempts per 75 possessions among qualified players, and he’s averaging 28 points per game on 61% true shooting.
Philadelphia’s defense surrenders the most transition field goal attempts per game, while Brown ranks fourth across the league in transition attempts per game. Look for him to find success in space against the 76ers, especially with Joel Embiid out and subsequently not protecting the paint.
Brown is also second on the Celtics and 23rd in the NBA in field goal attempts per game as a pick-and-roll ball handler. Philadelphia allows the third most of these shots per game.
In two matchups against the 76ers this season, Brown has scored 25 and 32 points.
Finally, he has cleared this line in seven of 11 games.
Celtics vs. 76ers Preview & Breakdown
It’s a transition season for Boston after losing Jayson Tatum to a torn Achilles last playoffs and dumping Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis in order to duck the second apron. Al Horford departing during free agency didn’t help matters, either.
But the Celtics are still fighting for a playoff spot in the weak East. They own a 5-6 record and currently rank 12th in net rating. Joe Mazulla still has his squad taking a ton of triples, as Boston has the fourth-largest 3-point attempt rate. However, the team is knocking them down at a mere 32.7% clip.
Jaylen Brown is leading the charge for Boston’s offense. The former Finals MVP is averaging 32.7 points per 75 possessions, which ranks third across the association among qualified players behind only Giannis Antetokounmpo and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Neemias Queta has also been a revelation. His rebounding and rim protection are holding Boston’s frontcourt together.
Meanwhile, Philadelphia is 6-4 with the 10th-best net rating. They are leaning heavily on Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, and Kelly Oubre Jr., who form the top three in minutes per game across the NBA.
Maxey is scoring 33.2 points per game on 61.7% true shooting, while Edgecombe, Oubre, Joel Embiid, and Quentin Grimes are all in between 16 to 19 points per game. The 76ers unsurprisingly rank fourth in offensive rating.
As for injuries, Boston is without Tatum, while Joel Embiid, Paul George, Dom Barlow, and Johni Broome are out for Philadelphia.
