Devin Vassell (SAO) – Over Points + Rebounds
The spotlight will naturally shine incandescently bright on the Knicks for Monday’s game, but the all the pressure is essentially on the Spurs, which can ill-afford to drop a third straight contest. That should lead to an aggressive approach from San Antonio, and Vassell could be a beneficiary of the defensive attention sure to be bestowed on Victor Wembanyama, and to a lesser extent, Stephon Castle. Vassell has exploited such an edge more often than not this postseason, including in the first two games of this series.
The 2020 11th overall pick recorded 18 and 23 points + rebounds in Games 1 and 2, despite shooting just 40.0% in that sample. He eclipsed the 17.5 in four of the previous seven games as well, and he finished on the hook with 17 in one of those contests. He’s also 3-1 to the Over on the 17.5 against the Knicks since the start of the regular season, and his one time falling short came with 17 points + rebounds in the NBA Cup title game. He’s also converted 58.9% of his 9.0 rebounding chances per game in the postseason, giving him a solid floor in that category.

De’Aaron Fox (SAO) – Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
It’s not clear whether Fox has been able to fully get past his ankle injury, but in two of the last three games, he’s shown flashes of being much closer to his usual form. The veteran point guard had 15 points on 50% shooting in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals against the Thunder, and after going just 3-for-13 from the floor in Game 1 of the Finals, Fox bounced back with a crisp 8-for-12 tally from the floor over 34 minutes in Game 2.
Fox totaled 28.5 points + rebounds + assists in that narrow loss for the Spurs, and from Game 3 of the second-round series against the Timberwolves to Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals versus the Thunder, Fox went 6-0 to the Over on the 23.5 PRA number. Given his improved shooting Friday and the fact he’s generated 15.3 points off assists on 10.6 assist opportunities per game in the playoffs, more than 23.5 points + rebounds + assists in such a critical game is in play.
Original Line Publish: 23.5
Mikal Bridges (NYK) – Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
Bridges had an uncharacteristically quiet game in Game 1 of the Finals, taking just six shots and posting a modest 15 points + rebounds + assists across 28 minutes. However, with San Antonio making Jalen Brunson much more of a focal point of their defensive efforts in Game 2, Bridges was back to 13 shot attempts and impressively sank eight of them — including four of the six he took from behind the arc — on his way to 26 points + rebounds + assists over 41 minutes.
That performance was much more in line to what Bridges had regularly been churning out since Game 6 of the first-round series against the Hawks. Bridges averaged 25.8 points + rebounds + assists over 34.2 minutes per game over a nine-game stretch heading into Game 1 of the Finals, going 9-0 to the Over on the 19.5 in that sample. Bridges shot 62.8% over that stretch as well, so his 61.5% success rate from the floor in Game 2 is right in line with his prior efficiency. He’s also 4-1 to the Over on the 19.5 against the Spurs since the start of the regular season, furthering the case for the Over.
