WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Final Prediction Market Trades for Tuesday, June 30, 2026
The 2026 Commissioner’s Cup Final takes place at 7pm ET on Tuesday, June 30th. The New York Liberty and Las Vegas Aces play for the title. Being held at the Barclays Center, the home venue of the Liberty, both teams are looking to make history by becoming the first team to win the Commissioner’s Cup twice.
The Aces picked up the trophy in 2022, with the Liberty winning the Cup the following year. In fact, this year’s Final is a repeat of the 2023 match-up, which saw the Liberty beat Las Vegas Aces 82-63.
Let’s take a look at how this game might play out. I’ll also show you my top buy for this highly anticipated contest.

Top Prediction Market Trade: Best WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Final Trade
While the New York Liberty are the favorites to win, it’s the Aces who hold a better overall record in head-to-head matches. In the 63 matchups these two sides have had, the Aces have won 34 of them. However, the Liberty played the Aces earlier this month which resulted in an 87-76 for New York.
The Liberty is on a L2 streak, though, losing to Seattle Storm Golden State Valkyries. By contrast, Las Vegas Aces are on a W2 streak after victories against Dallas Wings and Chicago Sky.
New York Liberty, though, have won all six of their Commissioner’s Cup games, with the Aces holding a 6-1 record.
Aces vs Liberty Over 171.5 Points Scored: No (0.43¢ at Kalshi)
If we look at the stats for previous Aces vs Liberty meetings, we see that Las Vegas averages around 79.8 points per game, with Liberty averaging around 77.9 PPG. However, if we look at each side’s most recent results in all competitions, Aces have an average PPG of 92 and Liberty has an average PPG of 84.4.
Their last meeting in the WNBA on June 24 resulted in a 87-76 win for Liberty. Of course, both sides possess fantastic offensive quality but recent success has been built on exceptional defense. It’s defensively where the Commissioner’s Cup Final will be won.
There are injury concerns for Aces star A’ja Wilson after she suffered an ankle injury in her last fixture against the Chicago Sky, though she is expected to start. Breanna Stewart will play for the Liberty, they’ll be relying on her inside and outside scoring ability.
While Points have been flowing for both sides in their most recent fixtures, this will be a tighter affair. Games between the two tend to be lower-scoring than other matchups, this will be a similar story. For the record, I think the New York Liberty will become the first side to win the Commissioner’s Cup Final twice, but in a lower scoring game than many others might be expecting.
