World Cup Goal Scoring Picks, Odds, Predictions for Tuesday, June 30, 2026
Day 3 of Round of 32 action at the World Cup has three matchups.
We start with Côte d’Ivoire vs. Norway at 1 p.m. ET in what is an intriguing matchup featuring one of the best strikers in the world, Erling Haaland. After that, France is heavy favorites against Sweden at 3 p.m. ET. There’s no shortage of firepower to choose from on Les Bleus. To finish it off, there’s Mexico vs. Ecuador live from Mexico City at 9 pm. ET. Goals should be hard to come by in that one.
At the very least, two of these three matches should bring goal. Below, we’ll dive into some of the top candidates to find the back of the net. Make sure to check out our World Cup match trends page for daily odds, insights, and betting data for each game.
Tuesday’s Best 2026 World Cup Goal Scoring Picks
- Ange-Yoan Bonny, Côte d’Ivoire
- Michael Olise, France
- Desire Doue, France
Ange-Yoan Bonny, Côte d’Ivoire
Everyone will be looking at Erling Haaland in this game, but I’m not a fan of his price, so I’ll take a shot on Ange-Yoan Bonny on Côte d’Ivoire. This is their main striker who hasn’t found the back of the net just yet. In a game where I view Côte d’Ivoire as live dogs, I’ll take a shot on him scoring his first goal of the World Cup.
This is a 6-foot-2 target man who can make an impact through the air. It wouldn’t surprise me to see him score a goal on a header, perhaps on a set piece.
Remember, even though Norway can score a lot of goals, they concede a lot, too. They’ve allowed seven goals in three games in the World Cup so far. Even Iraq found the back of the net against them. With that in mind, we’ll take a shot on Bonny to score here.
Michael Olise, France
France has been the most explosive team in the tournament, living up to the hype. They’re facing a Sweden squad that conceded five goals against Netherlands, so they’ve shown that they can be vulnerable at the back.
While Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele have done most of the damage, Michael Olise has yet to score a goal. Yes, he’s more of a playmaker, but he still scored 15 goals for Bayern Munich in Bundesliga action this year.
I’m betting that France scores 2+ goals in a convincing victory vs. Sweden, but Mbappe and Dembele are a bit too expensive. Instead, we’ll take a shot that Olise can score his first.
Desire Doue, France
Desire Doue is a talented attacker who plays for Paris Saint-Germain. He’s a terrific dribbler who can cause some issues for Sweden’s defense. We’ve already seen him score one goal during this World Cup in a 4-1 win over Norway.
Just like with Olise, I’m looking for a French attacker who has a bit more value than the usual suspects like Mbappe and Dembele.
There’s a chance that this game gets ugly, so we’ll take a shot on Doue scoring a goal in this one.
