World Cup Best Player Prop Picks, Odds, Predictions for Friday, July 10, 2026
The 2026 World Cup quarterfinals continue on Friday, moving from Foxborough to Inglewood for a clash between two of Europe’s finest. Spain and Belgium kick off at 3 p.m. ET at SoFi Stadium, with Spain entering as slight favorites. The two sides last met in a competitive match at the 2009 UEFA World Cup qualifiers and now face each other on the world’s biggest stage for the first time since 1990.
Spain has historically dominated this matchup and will look to extend that record with a victory that would send them to the World Cup semifinals for the first time since winning the tournament in 2010. Belgium, meanwhile, looks to build on its impressive 4-1 win over co-hosts USA on Monday. The Red Devils have scored seven goals across two knockout matches after managing just six during the entire group stage.
Here are the best player props for Friday, July 10.
Friday’s Best 2026 World Cup Player Props
- Lamine Yamal (Spain) – Over 3.5 Shots (-110)
- Jérémy Doku (Belgium) – Over 1.5 Shots (+145)
- Unai Simón (Spain) – Over 2.5 Saves (+105)
Lamine Yamal (Spain) – Over 3.5 Shots (-110)
Yamal continues to impress at the 2026 World Cup despite struggling to convert his chances. The 18-year-old has just one goal in the competition despite generating 1.26 xG. Even so, he keeps creating opportunities for himself and his teammates and shows no shortage of confidence in looking for his own shot with his devastating left foot. The Barcelona winger ranks just behind striker Mikel Oyarzabal in shots per game and should see plenty of opportunities against Belgium.
Yamal has taken nine total shots across his first two knockout appearances. After limited minutes in the group stage due to a pre-tournament injury, he is clearly now fully fit, having played 75 or more minutes in three straight matches. Spain will continue to lean on the teenager to create down the right flank, cut inside, and look for his own chances. No remaining team has averaged more possession than Spain, and Yamal will continue to be fed the ball throughout the contest.
Jérémy Doku (Belgium) – Over 1.5 Shots (+145)
Belgium manager Sérgio García surprisingly opted to use Doku off the bench in the Round of 16 against the USA on Monday. The Manchester City winger has now started just three of Belgium’s five matches after leaving the squad to be present for the birth of his son during the group stage. Despite his limited involvement, García is likely to reintroduce one of the world’s best left wingers with a World Cup semifinal place on the line.
The lack of playing time has taken a toll on the form Doku carried into the tournament. The 24-year-old arrived at the World Cup off a 19-goal contribution season for Manchester City across all competitions, but is averaging just 0.8 shots per game and has had two or more shots in just one of his four appearances. Even so, Belgium will need to be aggressive against a Spanish side that has not conceded a single goal this summer. Whether Doku starts or comes off the bench, expect him to be assertive as he looks to help fire his country to a first World Cup semifinal since 2018.
Unai Simón (Spain) – Over 2.5 Saves (+105)
Simón is the only goalkeeper at this World Cup yet to concede a goal across five matches. Spain’s defense has done an exceptional job limiting chances, with the 29-year-old averaging just 1.2 saves per game. However, La Roja now faces an opponent that appears to be hitting peak form at the right time. Belgium is averaging 6.4 shots on target per game throughout the tournament, with 12 across their first two knockout matches alone.
It is worth noting that Simón has not made more than two saves in any match at this tournament. The Athletic Club goalkeeper now faces arguably the most dangerous and in-form attack he has encountered all summer. Expect Belgium to keep creating big chances and test Simón more than any side has managed to this point.
