World Cup Goal Scoring Picks, Odds, Predictions for Friday, July 10, 2026
The quarterfinals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup continue today, with one matchup on tap for Friday, July 10th.
The lone game scheduled for Friday is Spain vs. Belgium at 3 p.m. ET at Los Angeles Stadium. La Roja has been incredible throughout this tournament, building off their Euro 2024 win, as they’ve yet to concede a goal. With that in mind, we’re not going to target anyone from Belgium for this game. Instead, we’ll choose two goal scorers from Spain.
Even with one matchup on tap, we can find opportunities for goals here. Below, we’ll dive into some of the top candidates to find the back of the net. Make sure to check out our World Cup match trends page for daily odds, insights, and betting data for each game.

Friday’s Best 2026 World Cup Goal Scoring Picks
- Mikel Oyarzabal, Spain
- Lamine Yamal, Spain
Mikel Oyarzabal, Spain
Spain vs. Belgium is a projected high-scoring game, as highlighted by a 2.5 total that is slightly juiced to the Over at -125 odds. Spain’s team total is listed at 1.5, juiced to the Over at -148 odds, so they’re projected to score 2+ goals. That’s why we’re focusing on Spain for this game.
We’ll start with Mikel Oyarzabal, who is their lone striker up top. The Real Sociedad forward has four goals in this World Cup so far. While he didn’t score against Portugal, that was a match where he missed a point-blank chance that he would have converted most of the time.
Belgium has a lot of talent in its squad, but they’re not exactly known for its defense. This team has conceded at least one goal in four of five matches in this year’s World Cup. I’m betting that Spain will get 2+ goals, with Oyarzabal scoring one of them.
Let’s not forget that this is a player who scored 15 goals in La Liga this past season, so he’s able to cause major problems for opposing teams up front. Let’s bet on him to score his fifth of the tournament here.
Lamine Yamal, Spain
Lamine Yamal hasn’t scored since his first match of the tournament, which was Spain’s second fixture, in a game against Saudi Arabia. The 18-year-old prodigy has generated his fair share of chances, however, and it feels like it’s only a matter of time before he scores.
Remember, this is a player who scored 16 goals in La Liga this season, so he’s not a stranger to finding the back of the net. We’re getting a decent value on him to score here, as it’s listed at longer than +150 odds.
I’m expecting Spain to win 2-0 in this match, so there’s enough value to take a shot on Yamal in this favorable game environment. With all the stars like Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, and Harry Kane seemingly scoring at will, it’s time that we see Yamal get in on the action.
Let’s bet on the future of world football to score his 2nd goal of the tournament in a likely win over Belgium.
