World Cup Goal Scoring Picks, Odds, Predictions for Saturday, July 11, 2026

The quarterfinals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup continue today, with two matchups on tap for Saturday, July 11th.

We’ve got Norway vs. England at 5 p.m. ET at Miami Stadium, followed by Argentina vs. Switzerland at 9 p.m. ET at Kansas City Stadium. The first match could be high-scoring, but the nightcap feels like more of a cagey affair, especially with the Swiss preferring to sit back on the counter.

Even still, we can find some spots for goals here.  Below, we’ll dive into some of the top candidates to find the back of the net. Make sure to check out our World Cup match trends page for daily odds, insights, and betting data for each game.

Saturday’s Best 2026 World Cup Goal Scoring Picks

  • Harry Kane, England
  • Erling Haaland, Norway
  • Lionel Messi, Argentina

Harry Kane, England

Norway vs. England is a projected high-scoring game, as highlighted by a 2.5 total that is juiced to the Over at -145. England’s team total is listed at 1.5, with the over at -125, so they’re projected to score 2+ goals.

We’re keeping it simple with this pick, going with Harry Kane to score one of those goals. This is one of the best strikers in the world, one who is in top form, already scoring six goals.

We’ve seen Norway concede at least one goal in each match throughout this tournament, so we’ll bet on that happening again. We’re getting a reasonable price on Kane in this favorable game environment, so we’ll ride with him here.

Remember, Kane scored 36 goals in the Bundesliga and 14 goals in Champions League this season. We’ll take him here at an affordable price.

Erling Haaland, Norway

Keeping with the theme of keeping it simple, we’re adding Erling Haaland to find the back of the net. The superstar striker has lived up to expectations in this tournament, scoring eight goals for Norway, including a brace in their upset win over Brazil.

While there’s a chance that England can slow down Haaland a bit because their defenders know him so well, we’ve seen the Manchester City man come through in the clutch throughout this tournament.

I think that both teams will score in this match, with Haaland being the overwhelming favorite to find the back of the net for Norway.

With the Norwegians coming in as underdogs, we’re getting a more palatable price on Haaland. Sign me up.

Lionel Messi, Argentina

Lionel Messi is proving to everyone why he’s the greatest player of all-time. Leading that comeback win over Egypt was truly special, including that Messi equalizer.

While Switzerland is organized and compact at the back, looking to sit in a low block and try to take their chances on the counter, I can’t pass up Messi at a reasonable -110 price at the time of this article.

Bet on Messi to keep pace with Kylian Mbappe in this phenomenal Golden Boot race with yet another goal, this time against Switzerland.

Even though this is likely going to be a low-scoring game, with a 2.5 total juiced to the Under at -155, we’ll use that as a buying opportunity with a better price from Messi.
