Tuesday’s Best 2026 World Cup Goal Scoring Picks
- Lionel Messi, Argentina
- Lautaro Martinez, Argentina
- Luis Diaz, Colombia
- Johan Manzambi, Switzerland
Lionel Messi, Argentina
Lionel Messi is having an incredible tournament so far, carrying the Argentine attack while scoring seven goals, putting him in a three-way tie for Golden Boot with Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.
Argentina comes into this match against Egypt as nearly -300 favorites. Their team total is at 1.5, juiced to the Over at nearly -170 odds. That means that it’s likely that they score 2+ goals in this match.
If that happens, there’s a great chance that Messi scores yet again. At the time of this article, we only have to pay around -120 odds for this prop, making it worth a look.
Lautaro Martinez, Argentina
Lautaro Martinez has started in each game for Argentina so far, ahead of Julian Alvarez. While he often comes off early to midway through the second half, he’s still worth a look at +130 odds at the time of this article.
The Inter Milan striker has only one goal in this tournament so far, but I’ll take my chances on him against Egypt, especially since I’m expecting Argentina to score at least two goals here.
Remember, Martinez scored 17 goals for Inter this season. He’s a prolific goalscorer in his own right. If you want plus odds on an Argentine attacker, he’s the best bet here.
Luis Diaz, Colombia
Luis Diaz is one of the most dangerous attackers on a Colombian team that has looked fantastic in attack so far in this tournament. This is a winger who consistently causes problems for opposing defenses.
We saw Diaz score 15 goals in 27 matches for Bayern Munich in Bundesliga action this season, so he’s certainly capable of converting on scoring chances.
Colombia comes into this match vs. Switzerland as +130 favorites to win in regulation. Their team total is at is at 1.5, with the Over listed at +150, so they’re only projected to score one goal in 90 minutes. That’s why I want to take Diaz, since he’s listed at longer than +200 odds at the time of this article. I’m looking for more of a longshot for goalscorers here.
Johan Manzambi, Switzerland
Johan Manzambi is a longshot bet that I’m targeting for Switzerland. I like both teams to score in this match, with a potential 1-1 score line after regulation.
We’ve seen Manzambi already score one goal for Switzerland, back in the group stage in a 2-1 win over Canada. At nearly +400 odds at the time of this article, he’s worth a look in this spot.
