The 2026 MLB All-Star Game has arrived. It’s always difficult to predict home run props for the All-Star Game, but that doesn’t mean we can’t try. After all, it’s fun to add a little bit of extra incentive to watching this game. Home runs are volatile to bet on as it is, so remember to only sprinkle a very small portion of your overall bankroll.
We’re going to choose two picks for home runs for the All-Star Game, focusing on longshots priced at +600 or longer. As with the Home Run Derby, we’re aiming to lean into uncertainty, seeking greater return on investment because we’re acknowledging how unpredictable this can be.

2026 MLB All-Star Game Predictions & Odds: 2026 MLB All-Star Game Picks
Before we get into my picks, let’s first establish a set of criteria for MLB All-Star Game home run props:
- Batted ball metrics: Barrel rate, maximum exit velocity
- Bat speed: Faster bat speed means more raw power
- Favorable pricing: Odds at +600 or longer
Considering those factors, I’ve come up with two hitters that meet this criteria.
Mike Trout Home Run Odds
Mike Trout is currently slashing .237/.390/.473 with 18 home runs in 354 plate appearances. He’s trimmed his strikeout rate from 32.0% to 24.6% while maintaining an impressive 19.9% barrel rate, which is his highest of his career. Since returning from injury on July 8th, Trout has one home run in four games.
You have to like how Trout has increased his bat speed from 74.0 MPH (77th percentile) to 75.1 MPH (85th percentile). It’s clear that he’s bouncing back to the Trout we all know and love after a down year in 2025. So why not take a shot on him to hit a home run in the All-Star Game?
As an added bonus, this game is in Philadelphia, which is Trout’s hometown, so this would be a great story. We’re getting terrific odds on Trout to hit a home run here, listed at +950 at the time of this article.
With that in mind, we’ll sprinkle on him to go yard in this spot. Risk 0.05 units.
Bobby Witt Jr. Home Run Odds
As for my other home run pick in the 2026 MLB All-Star Game, I’m focusing on a superstar hitter at a longshot price. We can get Bobby Witt Jr. at +1100 odds here. While his power numbers are down this season, as highlighted by 13 home runs and a .461 slugging percentage in 403 plate appearances, this is still a hitter with two 30+ home run seasons under his belt.
The barrel rate is still respectable at 11.9%, while his hard-hit rate is in the 95th percentile. Even though Witt’s bat speed is in the 68th percentile, so not as good as someone like Trout, I can’t pass up the opportunity to bet on him at such a longshot price.
Witt has one homer in his last four games. Let’s bet on him to go yard in this All-Star Game. Risk 0.05 units.
