Best Home Run Predictions, Picks, Props, Parlay, Odds Today: World Series HR Bets (Wednesday, October 29)
We’ve got Game 5 of the World Series in what continues to be a terrific matchup between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Jays were able to bounce back from an 18-inning loss to even up the series in Game 4, so it’s a pivotal Game 5 for my best home run predictions today.
It’s always tougher to nail home run props in the playoffs with so many strong pitching matchups, so we’ll have to dig deep in this one.

Will Smith Home Run Odds For World Series:
Despite missing with Will Smith yesterday, I’m riding with him again for my home run predictions today.
Blue Jays righty Trey Yesavage has had a tougher time against right-handers this season, allowing a .352 wOBA (.216 wOBA) against lefties.
Smith has been a tough out for the Blue Jays all series, featuring a home run and another close call that died at the warning track. This is a catcher who put up an elite 153 wRC+ this season, so the power is there to do damage.
Considering Yesavage’s challenges with righties, we’ll take one more swing on Smith here.
Teoscar Hernandez HR Odds for World Series:
My next pick for home run predictions is another hitter who I had in yesterday’s column, none other than Teoscar Hernandez.
Once again, the focus here is on trying to exploit Yesavage’s challenges with right-handed hitters. We’ve seen righties like Julio Rodriguez take Yesavage deep throughout this postseason.
Hernandez has done a good job in the World Series, especially at home, where he’s gone 5-for-11 with one home run.
Considering these circumstances, we’ll take a shot on Teo in this one.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Odds For MLB Home Run Picks:
The final pick for home run predictions is on Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who is having a historic postseason as he slashes .419/.500/.806 with seven home runs in 15 games.
Vlad Jr. proved last night that the pitching matchup doesn’t matter for him, homering off Shohei Ohtani.
With how well Vladdy has swung the bat throughout the playoffs, we’ll roll with him to go yard, even in a tough matchup against Blake Snell.
