DraftKings NFL Daily Fantasy Cash Game Picks Week 7

Quarterbacks
Matthew Stafford ($6,500) vs Falcons- Stafford didn’t have the best fantasy day on Sunday, only scoring 13.32 FPTS, but I think he is due for a big bounce-back game this week. He will take on the Falcons who rank 27th vs opposing QBs this season on DK and have been porous on the defensive side of the ball. However, they do have an electric offense which I think could turn this into a shootout. Stafford has all of his weapons healthy and with his arm talent, anything is possible.
Joe Burrow ($5,500) vs Browns- Joe Burrow hasn’t thrown a touchdown pass in the last 2 games but last week he was still effective, throwing for 313 yards. The Bengals will be taking on the Browns in week 7, Burrow threw for 316 yards and 3 TDs in their week 2 matchup. Cleveland’s offense seems to only show up vs low-quality teams so Burrow will have to throw to keep the Bengals in it. Despite his struggles, I like Burrow vs this defense, especially if AJ Green can play like he did last week vs the Colts.
Running Backs
Aaron Jones ($7,200) vs Texans- Aaron Jones was very ineffective last week, only rushing for 15 yards on 10 carries, but he did find the endzone to somewhat salvage his day. A lot of this had to do with the Packers being out of the game early, which is why I think he could be back to his usual form vs the Texans. The Texans have one of the worst run defenses in all of football and at this price, I think Aaron Jones is being a little undervalued in this spot. $7,200 is the lowest price we’ve seen Jones since week 2, and that week he rushed for 186 yards and had 3 total TDs. We may not get that, but I am expecting a very good week from the Packers RB this week.
Justin Jackson ($4,900) vs Jaguars- Justin Jackson is priced lower than Joshua Kelley this week and I think it very possible that Jackson is the starter this week vs Jacksonville. Jackson was much more effective in the Chargers last game, rushing for 71 yards on 15 carries with 5 receptions, and has shown in the past he can be effective in the NFL. Kelley has struggled with ball security and even though he may be more useful in short-yardage situations, I like Jackson more. The Jaguars rank 26th vs RBs on DK this season so at this price I think Jackson is very undervalued.
Wide Receivers
Kenny Golladay ($6,700) vs Falcons- The Falcons have one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL and are very banged up in the secondary, which is why I love Golladay this week. In 3 games this season Golladay hasn’t scored less than 16.2 FPTS and is coming off his first 100+ yard game of the season. He also has 2 TDs combined in those 3 games he has played this year. This game should be high scoring, and I expect Golladay to be the main recipient of passes from Matthew Stafford.
Tyler Boyd ($5,400) vs Browns- Despite AJ Green having his best game of the season, Tyler Boyd was still able to pick up 8 targets and go for 54 yards along with 25 yards on the ground. Boyd has been one of Joe Burrow’s favorite targets this season, 8+ targets in 4 of the last 5 games, and I don’t expect that to change. The Bengals find themselves down in a lot of games and forced to throw and I wouldn’t expect that to change here. Roster Boyd with confidence this week, even if he has only found the endzone 1 time this season.
Tight End
Hayden Hurst ($4,400) vs Lions- The Lions have had one of the best defenses vs TEs this season but I think if this game script goes as planned there will be lots of plays in the red zone. Hurst has 3 TDs this season including 1 last week vs the Vikings. Hurst has been up and down this season but at the TE position that is what we expect and at this price I think there is some TD value that you can’t find from other guys in this price range.
Defense
San Francisco 49ers D/ST ($3,300) vs Patriots- The 49ers will be making another trip across the country this week, this time to take on New England Patriots. The Pats didn’t look good last week vs the Broncos and Cam Newton looked like he had some struggles throwing down the field. The Niners played great defense vs the Rams on Sunday night and look like they have an all-pro corner with the emergence of Jason Verrett. They may be banged up but I still think they can be effective in this matchup, and we are getting a great price.
