High Point vs. Wisconsin Betting Analysis

Both of these schools can score buckets, with the points per game established above while the betting records for each team support the Over. High Point enters the tournament with a 20-11 O/U record while Wisconsin enters March Madness with a 21-13 O/U record. This is why the line is so high in the point total market. Moving to the ATS field, Wisconsin is 7-3 away from home but is just 3-4 ATS on a neutral court.

High Point is also 3-4 on the ATS when playing on a neutral court, so the spread becomes tough to determine who has an advantage. The Panthers have dropped four of five spreads, while Wisconsin has covered five of six games – so based off recent results we give the edge to Wisconsin.

High Point vs. Wisconsin Best Bet, Pick & Prediction

Wisconsin has the edge in the ATS market, but the score projection indicates a potential upset. High Point is struggling with the spread both recently and on a neutral court, so we’ll move to the point total that suggests the Over hitting. However, Wisconsin is coming off an Under result in which the total given exceeded 160 while High Point has gone Under in two of three games despite a 20-11 O/U record.

While the score projection indicates an Under, also note Wisconsin has gone Under 157 total points in 30 of 33 non-conference games on a neutral court. Given the large trend and a point total that buys us almost a touchdown, we’ll side with the Under – reluctantly.

Score Prediction: High Point 82, Wisconsin 77
Best Bet: Under 165 (-110)
