New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers Game 4 Preview, Picks & Odds for Sunday, May 10, 2026

Game 4 between the New York Knicks (3-0) and Philadelphia 76ers (0-3) is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Eastern on ABC. No team in NBA history has ever come back from down 3-0 in the series, so Philadelphia is looking to shock the world.

OG Anunoby missed Game 3 due to a hamstring strain, and he’s questionable to suit up for Game 4. Given New York’s series lead, it would behoove New York to rest Anunoby.

Knicks vs. 76ers Betting Analysis

Philadelphia shot out to a 31-27 lead after the first quarter thanks to a 15-point quarter from Paul George. However, the veteran missed all nine of his shots from this point on, and the team went ice cold. The 76ers finished the contest shooting 42.9% from the field and 28.1% from deep.

New York secured 32 free throw attempts compared to 16 for Philadelphia, and Joel Embiid did not mince words about the officials during his post-game interview – “They shot 32 free throws. We had 16, and we’re not a team that shoots a lot of threes. We attack, put the ball on the ground, so I don’t know. I guess it’s good when New York wins, so we’ve just got to have that mentality of just not fouling, I guess, and being smart enough to not put ourselves in a position where they’re going to take advantage of it.”

Jalen Brunson led the charge for New York in Game 3 by scoring 33 points on 50% shooting from the field and dishing out nine assists. The 3x All-Star constantly hunted Joel Embiid in high ball screens because Embiid was in drop coverage frequently. This allowed Brunson to create clean pull-up jumpers, and it was also a complete mismatch whenever Embiid was forced to switch onto Brunson. It’s no coincidence that Brunson averaged 34 points on a 57.5 FG% across Game 1 and Game 3 but only scored 26 points on a 42.9 FG% in Game 2 – this was the contest that Embiid missed.

Mikal Bridges has also bounced back after a rough first round. He’s averaging 19.3 points per game on 64/45/100 shooting splits this series. If Bridges is able to build upon his momentum in future rounds, then the Knicks are undoubtedly capable of winning the NBA Finals.

The best bet for Game 4 is taking Brunson to record at least 34 points plus assists. Philadelphia is struggling to prevent Brunson from targeting Embiid, and there is more of an offensive burden on Brunson with Anunoby out or very limited. Overall, Brunson has logged 38 and 42 PAs during the two games this series when Embiid played.
