Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Phoenix Suns Game 4 Preview, Picks & Odds for Monday, April 27, 2026

Game 4 between the Oklahoma City Thunder (3-0) and Phoenix Suns (0-3) begins at 9:30 p.m. Eastern on NBC Sports. Can the reigning champs pull off the sweep and get some rest before the second round? Or will Phoenix extend the series and force a Game 5?

Thunder vs. Suns Betting Analysis

The Thunder have played poorly in Game 3s over the past few seasons, but they broke the trend against Phoenix. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 42 points on 15-of-18 shooting from the field and chipped in eight assists.

During his post-game interview, he explained the team’s mentality entering the contest: “We knew coming into tonight we typically struggle with these games. Last year, we go down big in Memphis in Game 3. We lose Game 3 in the Denver series. We lose Game 3 in the Minnesota series by 40, and we lose Game 3 in Indiana. So yeah we really wanted to come out here and just put our best foot forward across the board and really play to our identity.”

Oklahoma City needed every Gilgeous-Alexander bucket because Ajay Mitchell went 5-of-20 from the field and Jalen Williams and Isaiah Joe were both out. Phoenix also defended Chet Holmgren at a high level and held him to 10 points on six shots.

On the other side, Dillon Brooks broke the 30-point barrier for the second straight game. He’s playing with force and is the only Sun who has routinely scored against Chet Holmgren. Oso Ighodaro also had a strong Game 3, but Phoenix needed more from Collin Gillespie.

The best bet is taking Dillon Brooks to score at least 20 points. He’s the only main scorer on the Suns who has the strength to bulldoze through the Thunder’s defense, especially with Jalen Williams sidelined. Phoenix also needs him to be a high-volume scorer because Luguentz Dort and the Thunder are shutting down Devin Booker. Overall, Brooks has scored 18, 30, and 33 in this series.
