Tour Championship DFS Picks, Predictions, Longshot Bets, Odds: 3 Sleepers, Including Harris English
Sadly, the end of the 2025 PGA Tour season is near as we prepare for the final event of the year, the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Ga. This event is set to produce a star-studded leaderboard in a limited field of just the 30 best remaining players on tour.
A shift from starting strokes to straight-up stroke play in 2025 makes it slightly more plausible that one of the other 29 mortals in this field may catch Scottie Scheffler and claim the title as tour champion. While this week isn’t one to get carried away with longshots, it does present some value to exploit in fantasy and positional betting markets.
Ahead, we’ll cover a few of my favorite DFS sleepers and longshot picks for the Tour Championship. Click any odds below to place a wager. For more sportsbook promos, we recommend checking out the best sports betting sites.
Tour Championship Golf DFS Picks: Betting Odds To Win
East Lake Golf Club: Course Introduction
Since the inception of the playoff system, East Lake Golf Club has been chosen as the finish line for the FedExCup Playoffs. It’s a sound backdrop for determining the PGA Tour champion. For the first time since 2018, the format has shifted to a straight-up format, with starting strokes removed.
East Lake looked more like “Easy Lake” in its first time hosting this event post-renovation this time last year. Several players eclipsed a gross score of 20-under-par on this par-71 despite Andrew Green’s efforts to modernize the venue. Although a tournament that concentrates on the 30 best remaining players is prone to produce lower average scoring, I expect East Lake to pose more of a challenge this time around.
In short, the best Total Drivers who can consistently find fairways with a driver off the tee are best positioned to navigate East Lake Golf Club. Proximity: 200+ and SG: Putting (Bermuda) have also proven to correlate well with success at this event over the years.

Tour Championship DFS Picks
To identify “value” any given week on the PGA, I find it’s best to first understand the consensus key stat profile. Then, take a stance on the elements of the event that may go overlooked. At the Tour Championship, Recent Form, Driving Distance, and SG: Approach are consensus key areas factored into each player’s price.
To exploit value, I’m looking to take a stance on the importance of Long Iron Approach Proximity and Comp Course History on similar venues of this yardage to differentiate my player pool.
Below, find my favorite value picks among golf DFS pools and longshot odds for the Tour Championship. Stats are pulled from the last 36 rounds unless otherwise noted.
Harris English:
The dream 2025 season for English continues, as he has officially locked up a place on the U.S. Ryder Cup team next month and can now concentrate his focus on the championship at hand in East Lake. With starting strokes removed, English has an opportunity to contend for the Tour Championship title.
The No. 11-ranked player in the FedExCup Standings has been a model of consistency all season, having made 14 consecutive cuts and posted four top-5 finishes.
A Georgia-native, this event should be a welcome homecoming for English, who has historically excelled on familiar Bermuda greens. English has elevated his play on the biggest stages this season, finishing runner-up at the Open and the PGA Championship.
He’ll look to keep the pedal down this week as he makes his first appearance back at East Lake since 2021.
Shane Lowry:
It seems a bit strange to firmly assign Lowry a place on the European Ryder Cup team while also being a bottom-10 player in terms of outright odds at this event. He hasn’t been the same since the U.S. Open, having failed to crack the top-20 in each of the last four tournaments.
However, a return to familiar Bermuda greens may be the change of pace he needs. The Jupiter, Fla. resident has always played his best stretch of golf in this region, posting finishes of T11, 7th, T20, and T8 in his trip through the Sunshine State swing earlier this season.
East Lake rewards a similar formula of Driving Accuracy, precise approach play, and streaky putting on the Bermuda surface, so his consistent form on Florida-style courses should carry over. A T9 finisher in his Tour Championship debut last year, this venue is one where I believe Lowry will continue to play well.
Ranking No. 7 in terms of SG: APP over the last 36 rounds, Lowry is an appealing salary-saving option in fantasy formats this week.
Andrew Novak:
A last-place finish at the BMW Championship still didn’t deter Novak’s plans to reach Atlanta, as he closed out the season No. 15 in the FedExCup standings. If we treat these rankings at face value, the body of work over the course of this long season would suggest Novak is far from the “worst” player in the field.
Nevertheless, you won’t find a player with longer odds than him this week. Relatively speaking, I believe he’s the best value on the board, as a Tour Championship victory this week could warrant a spot on the U.S. Ryder Cup team. Novak has handled himself well in pressure moments this season, as seven of his 10 top-20 finishes on the year have come in signature events.
The Wofford alum has played his best golf on Bermuda layouts, picking up his first career PGA Tour win at the Zurich Classic on April 27. He’ll have plenty of motivation to close out the year strong with a Ryder Cup bid and gaudy prize purse on the line.
Best of luck if you choose to roster these Tour Championship DFS and longshot picks!
