UEFA Champions League Match Betting Previews, Odds & Analysis for Wednesday, April 15, 2026
The final two matches of the Champions League Quarterfinals wrap up today, with Atletico Madrid and PSG anxiously awaiting their opponents. Arsenal are set to host Sporting at the Emirates Stadium, ahead in the tie by just one goal. Similarly, Bayern Munich returns home to the Allianz Arena, where they will host Real Madrid after defeating the Spanish giants 2-1 in Spain’s capital.
Arsenal is now the lone English club left in the competition after PSG’s dominance over Chelsea and Liverpool on the opposite side of the bracket. The North London club took over 90 minutes to find the back of the net when it met Sporting in Lisbon last week. Mikel Arteta’s side escaped Portugal with a one-goal lead after a stoppage-time strike by Kai Havertz broke the 0-0 deadlock and put his side ahead.
Bayern Munich took care of business when they traveled to Madrid last Tuesday with a 2-1 victory at the Bernabeu. Bayern found its goal late in the first half, and early in the second, before bunkering down and defending the relentless Real Madrid attack that ensued. The Champions of Germany will look to do more of the same in front of their home crowd as they eye a UCL semifinal matchup with PSG.

Arsenal vs. Sporting Betting Odds & Analysis
Some would argue this tie has gone just about how everyone would expect, with Arsenal entering the second leg with a one-goal cushion. Arteta’s squad has defended better than any other squad in the world this season, and they showcased more of that in the first leg of this matchup.
Goalkeeper David Raya now has the most clean sheets in the UCL this season, after picking up his seventh during last Tuesday’s 1-0 victory over Sporting. The Spanish keeper has been pivotal to Arsenal’s success all season, and there’s no reason to think that won’t be the case once again on Wednesday afternoon.
Where Arsenal continue to struggle as of late is with their attacks. Before Havertz’s goal in the 91st minute of the first leg, Arteta’s squad had generated just 0.17 xG in the match. This trend
continued into the weekend, when Bournemouth defeated Arsenal 2-1 with the London side scoring its lone goal from the penalty spot.
Attacking will be even more difficult for the Gunners, who will once again be missing Bukayo Saka and Jurrien Timber. Additionally, Martin Odegaard and Riccardo Calafiori are set to miss this contest.
Even so, Arsenal should feel safe at the back as long as their CB pairing of William Saliba and Gabriel is healthy, and playing in front of Raya. Look for Arsenal’s keeper to repeat much of what he did in the first leg, finishing the match with five saves from Sporting’s 11 total shots.
Best Bet: Raya Over 2.5 Saves (+150)
Bayern Munich vs. Real Madrid Betting Odds & Analysis
Real Madrid’s tendency to start games slowly was apparent during last week’s first leg between these two clubs. Bayern dominated Alvaro Arbeloa’s squad with 59% possesion in the first half, creating three big chances in the process.
To make matters worse for Madrid, 40-year-old keeper Manuel Neuer put forth an all-time performance at the Bernabeu, finishing the contest with nine total saves. Los Blancos will enter Wednesday afternoon’s contest hoping the German keeper will come down to Earth, allowing them to convert more of their chances in this match. However, a clean sheet in the Bundesliga over the weekend suggests otherwise.
Neuer is winning the battle against Father Time with one of the best Champions League campaigns of his career. The German keeper is averaging 3.6 saves per game with a 78% save percentage in the competition as well. While Kylian Mbappe managed to find the back of his net in the first leg, Bayern’s defending, spearheaded by Neuer, seemed fairly strong throughout much of the game.
Bayern Munich was the strongest club at home in the Champions League, conceding just three goals at the Allianz Arena all season. Madrid will have to find a way to break down this Bayern defense, which has been a struggle for Arbeloa’s club over the past few games.
Real Madrid has now scored just one goal in three straight games across all competitions. While that trend will technically be enough to equalize this tie, the likelihood of Bayern not scoring any itself is nearly impossible to imagine.
You can expect Madrid to put forth a fighting chance before ultimately fizzling out and falling at the hands of the Champions of Germany.
Best Bet: Bayern Munich -1.5 (+105)
Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League DFS Picks

We selected Real Madrid’s lone goalscorer from the first leg as our top forward choice. Mbappe has been the best player both statistically and with the eye test. Look for Madrid to latch on and allow the Frenchman to carry their squad as far as he can in this match.
We then went with Saka’s likely backup, Noni Madueke. Madueke has been dealing with some injuries as of late himself, but is expected to start the second leg vs. Sporting. The English winger was inches from scoring in the first leg, but hit the woodwork unluckily.
We stuck with Arsenal for our first midfielder, Declan Rice. It will be important to watch the English midfielder’s status leading up to game time, as he was said to have missed training due to a knock he picked up over the weekend. Rice had a great all-around game the first time these teams met, and would leave a large hole should he not be able to go.
For our final midfield selection, we selected Sporting’s talented youngster, Geovany Quenda, who is returning from a long absence due to injury. The Portuguese attacker can play centrally or on either wing, and will be asked to aid a Sporting attack that lacked creativity in the first leg.
For our first defender, we selected former Liverpool man, Trent Alexander-Arnold. The English full back was responsible for the assist to Mbappe’s goal in the first leg, and will be asked to do more of the same come Wednesday afternoon.
Next, we went with one of Arteta’s likely starters for this game, Pierro Hincapie. The Ecuadorian will likely find himself in the starting XI after the news of Calafiori’s injury, which will likely hold him out. The former Leverkusen man has done well for Arsenal when he’s had the chance to play this season.
We went with Neuer as our goalkeeper for this lineup after the tremendous effort he showed last week. While it is unrealistic to expect more of the same for the 40-year-old keeper, Madrid will be trying its hardest to get back into this tie, and Neuer is sure to be called into action as a result.
Finally, we round out this lineup with Sporting striker Luis Suarez. The Colombian forward has been Sporting’s most dangerous attacker in its domestic league and in Europe. If Sporting is to find the back of the net in this match, Suarez will likely contribute to it in some way.
