Vegas Golden Knights vs. Anaheim Ducks Game 4 Preview, Picks & Odds for Sunday, May 10, 2026

After underwhelming in game two, the Vegas Golden Knights were able to round back into dominant form in game three, beating the Anaheim Ducks 6-2. Their final mark in Expected Goals solidified their performance, out scoring the Ducks 4.63-2.69.

Heading into game four, expect the Golden Knights front line to continue to thrive by exploiting a Ducks defense who severely underwhelms in coverage. Even if Ville Husso gets the start over Lukas Dostal, there will be no bump in production with the back up goalie giving up over three Goals Against per game throughout the regular season.

Vegas Golden Knights vs. Anaheim Ducks Betting Analysis

While the Anaheim Ducks front line have been able to thrive this season, their back line has been unable to give them the production they need to be a well rounded unit, ranking near dead last in Expected Goals Against in All Situations. Their lack of coverage makes it easier for their opponents to pressure their net, making the Ducks vulnerable to falling quickly behind on the scoreboard.

Anaheim’s inability to stay in front of the puck also leaves Lukas Dostal exposed in their net with the Ducks goalie averaging 3.48 Goals Against per game and a .876 Save Percentage throughout the playoffs. After a rough start in game three, the Ducks were quick to pull their starting goalie, sending out Ville Husso who they may turn to for game four.

Unfortunately for the Ducks, either goalie will struggle to hold their ground against the Vegas Golden Knights, battling it out against a front line who resides in the top half of the board in Expected Goals For in All Situations and in 5-on-5 Play. Their versatility has played a major role in their success in the postseason, fielding six players who are averaging more than 0.25 Expected Goals.

With his linemates creating wider shooting lanes with their playmaking, Mitch Marner has been able to capitalize on his scoring opportunities, securing a hat trick in his last game out. His consistency has been on full display in the playoffs, leading the team in Expected Goals with an average of 0.45 per game.

With the Ducks incapable of bottling up the Golden Knights offense, expect their front line to build on their momentum and put together another dominant performance in game four, clearing the over on their team total in the process. For some more exposure, escalator bet the Golden Knights team total by placing smaller wagers on their alternate overs.
