These contests combine stat projections into a single lineup. Simply build a lineup of projections by selecting whether they will have more or less than their projected output. You must have at least two from the same sport (as you cannot combine Picks from other sports), but this column focuses on the NFL.
With that in mind, let’s break down my selections for Week 12 NFL for DraftKings Pick6.

Week 12 NFL Selections: DraftKings Pick6 (Sunday, November 23)
Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery: More Than 50.5 Rushing Yards
This is a great spot for Montgomery to have a big game. For one, the Giants have been atrocious in run defense, ranking 32nd in EPA. We’ve seen running backs like D’Andre Swift (80 yards) and J.K. Dobbins (81 yards) have efficient games against this defense in recent weeks.
While obviously Jahmyr Gibbs is the lead back for the Lions, this is the type of projected game script where Montgomery could get more work than usual. The Lions are home favorites, so they’re expected to control this game, which means an increase in rushing volume.
It’s also worth noting that Lions’ head coach Dan Campbell spoke publicly about wanting to get Montgomery more carries. With that in mind, 50.5 rushing yards feels like a low bar to clear in this spot.
Seattle Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker: More Than 61.5 Rushing Yards
Walker is coming off a terrific game against the Rams, where he rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown. The dynamic back has now put up 66+ rushing yards in three of his last four games.
Like Campbell with Montgomery, Mike Macdonald has publicly stated that Walker has earned more touches due to his strong play. That’s good news in a great spot against the Titans. The Seahawks are double-digit favorites, so it’s likely that they’ll be able to run the ball more than usual.
It’s also hard to see struggling rookie quarterback Cam Ward having much success against this elite defense. That means more possessions for the Seahawks and more opportunities for Walker to eclipse this number.
Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce: More Than 51.5 Receiving Yards
Travis Kelce is having quite the resurgence, putting up his highest yards after catch per reception since 2016. The future Hall-of-Famer has eclipsed 51.5 receiving yards in five consecutive games. This includes two games with 90+ yards.
Up next is a terrific spot vs the Colts, who rank 30th in receiving yards allowed to tight ends.
Kelce should be able to fly over this number, especially if it’s a high-scoring game that comes down to the wire, as projected.
