Monday’s Best 2026 World Cup Player Props

  • Lamine Yamal (Spain) Over 0.5 Assist
  • Kevin De Bruyne (Belgium) Over 0.5 Assist
  • Mehdi Taremi (Iran) Over 1.5 Shots on Goal

Lamine Yamal (Spain) Over 0.5 Assist

Spain is one of the favorites to lift the 2026 World Cup and they couldn’t have asked for amore ideal start. They’re up against Cape Verde and I’m expecting a comfortable victory for the Europeans. There’s been some injury concerns over Lamine Yamal but he is expected to start.

The Barcelona winger recorded 11 assists in La Liga last year and 18 in all competitions. He’s my pick to be the provider for his country as they look to start their World Cup campaign with a win.

Kevin De Bruyne (Belgium) Over 0.5 Assist

The ‘Assist King’ himself, Belgium’s Kevin De Bruyne is the subject of my player prop as he takes on Egypt. His first season at Serie A side was hampered by injury, but De Bruyne is fit and ready to go in this World Cup.

He’s recorded a fantastic 49 assists in 106 international games, I think he’ll get his 50th against Egypt. It’s likely Romelu Lukaku will start up front for Rudi Garcia’s side, De Bruyne has assisted Lukaku 13 times and their connection could reap rewards once again.

Mehdi Taremi (Iran) Over 1.5 Shots on Goal

The final game on Monday sees Iran take on New Zealand. There’s a few that might be surprised by the quality of this Iran side, with Mehdi Taremi being their stand-out player. Taremi’s goalscoring record is fantastic, scoring 60 in 105 international matches for a ratio of less than 1 in 2. Whether he gets on the scoresheet against New Zealand is yet to be seen, but I expect him to cause the Kiwi’s goalkeeper Max Crocombe all sorts of problems.

Latest data shows us that Mehdi Taremi took an average of 4.14 shots per 90 minutes for his club side Olympiakos last season, with an average of 1.71 on target. Against this New Zealand side, we can see Iran’s main man firing plenty of shots off, his goalscoring record suggests that he’ll find the target more often than not.
