World Cup Best Player Prop Picks, Odds, Predictions for Monday, June 29, 2026
The 2026 World Cup Round of 32 is underway after South Africa and Canada both played their first-ever knockout-stage matches on Sunday. Three more games are on the slate Monday, featuring some of the best matchups of the tournament so far.
Brazil and Japan kick things off at 1 p.m. ET at NRG Stadium in Houston. The Group C winners take on Group F runners-up Japan in a highly anticipated clash between two of the most exciting teams in the competition. Both sides enter unbeaten through three games and scored seven goals apiece during the group stage. It shapes up to be a classic knockout-stage match between two evenly matched teams.
Later in the afternoon, Germany faces Paraguay in the 1E vs. 3D matchup at 4:30 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. The Group E winners were among the most impressive sides during the group stage and now face a Paraguay team that barely squeezed into the knockout rounds with just two goals in group play. Germany is a heavy favorite to advance.
The three-game slate concludes with a heavyweight clash between the Netherlands and Morocco. The two sides meet at this stage for the first time in 32 years in the 1F vs. 2C matchup. Both teams drew their opener before winning their remaining two group games and will meet at 9 p.m. ET at Estadio BBVA in Monterrey for a spot in the Round of 16.

Monday’s Best 2026 World Cup Player Props
- Vinícius Jr. (Brazil) – Over 0.5 Goals + Assists (-130)
- Orlando Gil (Paraguay) – Over 4.5 Saves (+145)
- Achraf Hakimi (Morocco) – Over 1.5 Shots
Vinícius Jr. (Brazil) – Over 0.5 Goals + Assists (-130)
Vinícius Jr. has been one of the hottest attackers at the 2026 World Cup, contributing four goals and an assist across the first three group stage games. The Real Madrid superstar is in outstanding form, and it is no coincidence that his best performances are coming under former club manager Carlo Ancelotti. Vinícius consistently thrived under Ancelotti at Real Madrid, and the same dynamic is playing out on the international stage.
He has recorded at least one goal contribution in each match so far, and we’re backing that trend to continue against Japan. Brazil will continue to attack down the left flank with Vinícius as the focal point, giving him plenty of opportunities to add to his tally in the early kickoff.
Orlando Gil (Paraguay) – Over 4.5 Saves (+145)
After a tough opener against the USA, Orlando Gil has responded with strong performances against Türkiye and Australia. The South American has 13 total saves across three matches, stopping 76% of the shots on target he has faced. He now faces the challenge of containing Germany, which averaged the most shots on target per game in the group stage at 7.3 and scored 3.3 goals per match.
Gil could easily be in line for a third straight performance of five or more saves, given Germany’s efficiency in front of goal. Paraguay will likely invite pressure as they look to stay level for as long as possible and take the match to penalties. As Germany grows increasingly desperate for a goal, Gil will face more and more attempts and should comfortably reach or surpass five saves.
Achraf Hakimi (Morocco) – Over 1.5 Shots
Hakimi and Morocco have their sights set on matching — or bettering — their remarkable semifinal run at the 2022 World Cup. The path will not be easy, starting with a Round of 32 match against the Netherlands, but Hakimi is the kind of player who rises to big occasions. Morocco is averaging 16 total shots per game, with Hakimi accounting for 3.3 of those himself.
With so much at stake, Hakimi will be looking to make his mark from his right back position. The PSG captain already has a goal and an assist in this tournament and will be eager to add to both as Morocco pushes for a historic run.
