We’ve enjoyed an incredible start to the 2026 FIFA World Cup! Some fantastic games so far, we expect that to continue on Tuesday as Groups I and J begin. We start the day with the Group I game France against Senegal, what a fixture that is! It’s a 3pm ET kick off for that one, followed by Iran against Norway at 6pm ET.
To end the day, Reigning Champions Argentina begin the defense of their title against Algeria at 9pm ET.
Let’s explore the best player props for Tuesday’s games! Make sure to check out our World Cup match trends page for daily odds, insights and betting data for each game.
Tuesday’s Best 2026 World Cup Player Props
- Michael Olise (France) Over 0.5 Assists
- Erling Haaland (Norway) Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (+115)
- Julian Alvarez (Argentina) Over 1.5 Shot on Goal (+130)
Michael Olise (France) Over 0.5 Assists
France are amongst the favorites to win the 2026 World Cup (in fact, they’re my choice to do just that). They start their campaign with a tricky fixture against Senegal. Group I is likely to be close, with Norway also in the group, so it’s important Didier Deschamps’ side start off with a win.
Michael Olise comes into the tournament on the back of a fantastic season with club side Bayern Munich. Olise recorded 19 assists in 32 Bundesliga fixtures, an incredible return. While most eyes will be on Kylian Mbappe, Olise is my man to watch and he’ll be instrumental in creating opportunities for his side to score.
Erling Haaland (Norway) Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (+115)
This prop speaks for itself. The goal machine that is Erling Haaland will be instrumental in Norway’s first World Cup campaign since 1998. For Manchester City in the EPL last season, Haaland had 60 shots on target in 38 games, for an average of just shy of 2 shots on target per game.
Norway really needs to start off with a win. Both France and Senegal will prove tough opponents so this game against Iraq provides a great opportunity to get points on the board straight away. As their main man, Haaland should have plenty of opportunities to get shots off.
Julian Alvarez (Argentina) Over 1.5 Shots on Goal (+130)
The current World Cup holders begin the defence of their title against Algeria. Lionel Messi will be the name on most people’s lips, but Julian Alvarez is another one to watch. Alvarez had 90 shots for La Liga’s Atletico Madrid last season. He isn’t shy taking shots from anywhere inside or outside of the box and I’m expecting the Atleti star to cause Algeria keeper Luca Zidane all sorts of problems.
