Saturday’s Best 2026 World Cup Goal Scoring Picks

  • Ismael Saibari, Morocco
  • Michael Olise, France (+200)

Ismael Saibari, Morocco

Morocco is currently -120 to beat Canada in 90 minutes, which is a relatively heavy favorite. Their team total is 1.5, with the over listed at +107. Even though it’s a projected low-scoring game, Morocco is at almost 50% implied probability of scoring 2+ goals.

Expect them to control the game against Canada, who weren’t that impressive vs. an underwhelming South Africa side. Morocco was able to make a nice comeback with a late equalizer and then a win in penalty shootouts over Netherlands, who was off to a great start in the tournament.

When trying to figure out who to bet on for Morocco to score, Ismael Saibari stands out from the rest. This is a dangerous attacker who has made a major impact for Morocco throughout the tournament so far, scoring three goals, including one against Haiti, Scotland, and Brazil.

We’ll take a shot on Saibari to find the back of the net against Canada.

Michael Olise, France

France look like a tier above everyone else in the World Cup. They’ve been absolutely dominant, en route to a 3-0 win vs. Sweden, a 4-1 win vs. Norway, a 3-0 win vs. Iraq, and a 3-1 win vs. Senegal. Their imposing attack has been as dangerous as advertised, led by Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele, with Michael Olise as the playmaker.

I’ve tried to bet on Olise to score a goal in this article when they faced Sweden, but he wasn’t able to get it done. However, he had numerous chances in that game, including a near breakaway. Olise is renowned for his playmaking skills, but he can still score, as highlighted by his 15+ goals for Bayern Munich this season.

Even though Paraguay is an organized side that will sit back in a low block, France will dominate possession and generate a ton of scoring chances. While I don’t see this being a game where they get to 4+ goals, 2 or 3 remains likely. At the time of this article, Olise had the most value among French attackers, coming at around +180.

That makes him worth a look, especially since Mbappe is too heavily juiced.
