Leg 2: Christian McCaffery Over 79.5 Rushing Yards

With a short week of prep calls for a heavier dose of the run and that plays right into Christian McCaffery’s hands as he is poised for a big game by exploiting this weak Giants defense. A defense that just surrendered over 100 rushing yards to Arizona’s James Conner, now needing to deal with the 49er’s pulling schemes with Christian McCaffery hitting the open field.

With the added factor of this potentially being a blowout, McCaffery will benefit from an extra run game script as he churns out chunks of yardage late in the contest. This total has steadily risen in various sportsbooks, a good reminder to always shop around when creating SGP’s to get the best available odds.

Leg 3: Deebo Samuel Over 4.5 Receptions

It’s been a relatively quiet start for the versatile Deebo Samuel as Christian McCaffery carves out more of a role in the ground game. That isn’t to say Deebo doesn’t play a factor in the run anymore, but he has seen an uptick in the pass department.

After hauling in six receptions last week, I am backing another good outing from Deebo as Aiyuk deals with an injury. If Aiyuk is out, the 49ers are more than capable of scheming more screens and quick outs to Deebo in an attempt to get him out in space with blockers.

If Aiyuk plays, then Deebo benefits from more singular coverage where he is more than capable of burning any defender that the Giants throw at him.

Leg 4: Deebo Samuel Anytime Touchdown

With added attempts comes a higher chance of getting into the endzone. As previously mentioned, he has seen a decrease in his rushing attempts but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a factor in the ground game.

Especially when operating with a shrunken field when they are near the red zone where the Giants can afford to stack the box. This leaves the 49ers to potentially rely on a trick formation in the form of a jet sweep or quick screen as Deebo shifts across the line should the interior line get stuffed.
