NBA Best Player Props, Odds, Predictions for Wednesday, April 1, 2026
It’s another busy late-season night in the Association on Wednesday, and it’s shaping up as a potentially productive one for several big men across the league. That’s often the case when permeable frontcourt defenses like those of the Wizards and the Jazz are in action, among others. With several appealing prop bets on tap as a result, here’s a deeper dive on four of our favorites for tonight.
Wednesday’s Best NBA Player Props
- Paul George, 76ers- Over 22.5 Points + Rebounds
- OG Anunoby, Knicks – Over 20.5 Points + Rebounds
- Matas Buzelis, Bulls – Over 27.5 Points + Rebounds
- Kyle Filipowski, Jazz – Over 25.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Paul George Over 22.5 Points + Rebounds
George has unsurprisingly come back from his 25-game suspension with fresh legs, which gives him a significant advantage at this late stage of the season. The veteran is averaging 24.3 points (on 40% three-point shooting), 7.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 3.0 steals across 32.3 minutes per contest in his first three games back.
Both the shooting numbers and the playing time are particularly encouraging considering the long layoff, and Wednesday’s matchup against the Wizards offers plenty of promise. Washington is allowing an NBA-high 25.5 points and 10.9 rebounds per game to power forwards on the season, including an even more inflated 29.5 and 11.7, respectively, in the last 15 contests. Given the factors cited, an Over for the star forward is certainly in play.
OG Anunoby Over 20.5 Points + Rebounds
The Knicks had a tough double-digit loss to the Rockets on Tuesday, but New York is teed up for a likely bounce-back performance tonight against the reeling Grizzlies. Memphis’ roster has been decimated by injury for the majority of the season, and the team is especially thin in the frontcourt over these final days of the season. The lack of bodies is showing up in the numbers, as the Grizzlies are conceding the sixth-highest offensive efficiency rating to power forwards on the season (28.5).
Then, Anunoby checks into Wednesday off a ragged game in the tough matchup vs. Houston on Tuesday (eight points, six rebounds), but he was averaging 19.1 points (on 53.8% shooting, including 44.3% from distance), 4.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals over the previous 12 games. That impressive line includes another difficult performance against the defensively elite Thunder two games ago, so Anunoby should be set up to thrive against a much lesser caliber of opponent.
Matas Buzelis Over 27.5 Points + Rebounds
Buzelis has put together an encouraging second season in what is another disappointing campaign for the Bulls, and the second-year forward has especially hit his stride down the stretch. Buzelis is averaging 21.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.6 blocks across 32.9 minutes over his last 16 games. The floor-stretching big is facing a highly familiar opponent Wednesday in the Pacers, who Buzelis has lit up for 15.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.7 blocks in three prior games this season. Buzelis is shooting 53.6%, including 42.9% from three-point range, in that sample as well, and Indiana is seemingly more vulnerable than ever in the frontcourt as the season winds down.
The Pacers are allowing the third-most points (26.8) and second-most rebounds (11.65) per game to power forwards in the last 15, and a league-high 28.5 in the last seven contests specifically. With Buzelis putting the Bulls’ offense on his shoulders more often than not lately and converting a solid 54.5% of his 10.8 rebounding chances per game, this is a prop that has some legs in a game with 5-point spread and massive 247.5-point total.
Kyle Filipowski Over 25.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
There’s no disputing the Jazz are a hapless bunch as the season winds down, but that’s not to say there aren’t some bright spots. Filipowski is one shining example, as the second-year big has taken advantage of season-ending injuries to Lauri Markkanen and Jusuf Nurkic to spearhead Utah’s frontcourt over most of the second half of the season. Filipowski enters Wednesday’s matchup against the Nuggets on an especially productive stretch of play, averaging 15.2 points (on 51.3% shooting), 8.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.4 steals over 25.9 minutes in his 18 post-All-Star-break games.
That sample includes a solid 19-point, eight-rebound, six-assist, one-steal effort against Denver on March 2, and an even more impressive 25/8/5 line in a rematch on Friday. The Nuggets come in ranked No. 26 in offensive efficiency rating allowed to power forwards (28.6) as well, so the stage is set for Filipowski to have a fighting chance at this prop.
