It’s going to be tough for Philip Rivers to lead the Colts to enough points to keep pace with Brock Purdy and the 49ers. San Francisco is rolling right now on a four-game winning streak. With that in mind, let’s dive into the best 49ers vs. Colts SGP picks we could put together for Monday.

49ers vs. Colts SGP Picks for Monday Night Football Week 16

Monday Night Football 49ers vs. Colts picks: 49ers -5.5 (-110)
I’m riding with the 49ers as road favorites because they’re playing their best football of the season right now. Not only are they on a four-game winning streak, but each of those games has been a convincing victory:
- 37-24 vs Titans
- 26-8 at Browns
- 20-9 vs Panthers
- 41-22 at Cardinals
While the Colts were able to keep it close against the Seahawks, I think the 49ers will have much more success against this defense, given that it’s an indoor environment that favors high-scoring games.
49ers vs. Colts predictions: Over 45.5 (-115)
I’ll add the Over 45.5 points because this feels like a low number considering it’s an indoor game. Just take a look at Colts’ games this season:
- 33-8 vs Dolphins (41)
- 29-28 vs Broncos (57)
- 40-6 vs Raiders (46)
- 31-27 vs Cardinals (58)
- 38-14 vs Titans (52)
- 31-25 vs Falcons (56)
- 20-16 vs Texans (36)
I know several of those games were with Daniel Jones, but Rivers can do enough to get his team to 20 points tonight, especially with the Niners’ struggles on defense. We just saw San Francisco allow 24 to the Titans last week.
49ers vs. Colts props: Brock Purdy Over 261.5 pass + rushing yards (-111)
The first prop focuses on Brock Purdy to surpass 261.5 combined passing and receiving yards.
We saw Purdy look much better coming out of the bye last week, throwing for 295 yards while adding 44 yards on the ground. That adds up to 339 yards, which would have comfortably eclipsed tonight’s total.
Given the 49ers’ deficiencies on defense, I think that Purdy will still have to make a lot of plays to get it done here. We saw C.J. Stroud throw for 276 yards against the Colts in Indianapolis, so I’ll take my chances with Purdy here.
49ers vs. Colts prop bets: Jauan Jennings 50+ receiving yards (-150)
The next prop zeroes in on Jauan Jennings, targeting his over 54.5 receiving yards. While Jennings only had 37 yards last week, he hauled in two touchdowns, so he’s still a major part of this offense. The veteran wideout has failed to eclipse this number in four straight games, but this is a great spot for him.
That’s because Ricky Pearsall is out for this game, leaving Jennings as the clear-cut top wideout. I’m expecting the Niners to move the ball on this defense, so Jennings could reap the rewards with a big game.
49ers vs. Colts props: Jonathan Taylor Over 123.5 rushing + rec yards (-115)
My final prop is on Jonathan Taylor Over 121.5 rush+rec yards. I’m going with total yards over rushing yards because Rivers likes to check it down. We saw that last week, when Taylor had three receptions for 14 yards.
Expect a heavy workload from Taylor in this game. The Niners had trouble with Tony Pollard last week, as he rushed for 104 yards on only 14 carries. It wouldn’t shock me to see a monster game from JT as he tries to carry his team to keep their playoff hopes alive.
