New England Patriots vs. Seattle Seahawks: Sunday, February 8, 6:30 p.m. ET
Drake Maye and the Patriots overcame an early 7-0 deficit in increasingly deteriorating weather conditions to squeak out a 10-7 comeback victory over the Denver Broncos at Empower Field in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game. Neither offense resembled their normal selves as the snow became difficult to navigate, but Rhamondre Stevenson grinded out 70 tough yards on the ground while Maye navigated five sacks to seal the win with a designed run for a first down right after the two-minute warning.
The Seahawks punched their ticket to face off with Maye and the Patriots with a hard-fought postseason win for the ages against the division-rival Rams. Seattle escaped with a 31-27 victory, one that saw Los Angeles fight to the very last snap and the game end on a razor-thin call that deemed Puka Nacua did not get out of bounds to stop the clock following a reception near the sideline. Sam Darnold authored a fantastic performance that included 346 yards and three touchdowns and served as the latest chapter in his career redemption.
The Seahawks have been installed as 4.5 favorites, while the total is set at 46.5 points.
