NBA DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks 2/26/20

Point Guard
Spencer Dinwiddie ($8,000) vs Wizards– Spencer Dinwiddie turned in another great performance running the point for the Nets without Kyrie Irving in the lineup. In the last 3 games he is now averaging 18.7 PPG 4.0 RPG and 8.3 APG which is well above his assist average for the season. The Nets will take on the Wizards tonight, who have had no desire to play defense all season, and they allowed Dinwiddie to put up 26 PTS 6 AST and 4 REB against them in their last meeting. Dinwiddie is just too involved right now in everything involving the Nets offense so at this price he will be in my lineup.
Shooting Guard
Jaylen Brown ($6,700) vs Jazz– Jaylen Brown has really surprised people this season with his improvement and he can now be relied upon to score the ball at a consistent level. He comes into this game averaging 22.5 PPG and 7.0 RPG on 50% shooting in his last 2 contests. In those games he also scored no less than 38 FTPS. The Jazz rank 15th in the NBA against SG’s on DK this season and with Brown shooting the ball very well paired with Kemba Walker expected to miss another game I think there is some value in Brown at this $6,700 price.
Small Forward
Robert Covington ($6,200) vs Grizzlies– The Rockets are in action again tonight so that means I will have Covington in my lineup as well. His price has continued to go up with his play recently but he seems to have really thrived in this small ball offense for Houston. He is averaging 13 PPG and 8.0 RPG in his last 3 games as well as 3.7 BPG. He has at least 3 blocks in each of his last 4 games and in those games he has also not shot less than 8 three pointers. He will get his shots up from deep with regularity and due to him playing the 4 or 5 in this offense he will run into more rebounds which only helps his value.
Power Forward
John Collins ($8,700) vs Magic– Collins has turned into one of the best young PF’s in the NBA and when he is playing with Trae Young it opens up a lot of things for him on the offensive end. In the last 3 games he has put up 22.7 PPG and 11.0 RPG on 62% shooting and in his last matchup vs the Magic he did well scoring 22 PTS with 8 REB on 10/14 from the field. Trae Young is one of the top assist leaders in the NBA so with a lot of attention on him I expect him to feed Collins early and often like we have seen lately in this matchup.
Center
James Johnson ($5,300) vs Timberwolves– With Karl-Anthony Towns out for the Wolves we have seen a lot of James Johnson starting at the 5 for Minnesota. He has done well with this opportunity putting up 13.7 PPG and 5.3 RPG along with 2.0 BPG in his last 3 games. This will also be a revenge game for Johnson as he returns to Miami for the first time since being moved at the deadline. There isn’t crazy upside here but with two straight games of over 28 FPTS if there was ever a time to roster Johnson I think it is in this matchup.
Sleeper Play
Ivica Zubac ($4,300) vs Suns– Zubac is still hovering around 20 minutes per game but he sure makes his impact still. He is coming off two games of 8 PTS 15 REB and 6 PTS 10 REB in 20.5 average minutes per game. He has also shot the ball 8 times in each of the last two which is much more than he usually does. I think he has the advantage with his size and defense over Ayton so I am going to roster Zubac in this one knowing that he has played very well in his last two games.
