Point Guards
- Damian Lillard ($8,500/$8,800)
- Ben Simmons ($8,200/$8,200)
- De’Aaron Fox ($7,600/$7,400)
- Kemba Walker ($7,000/$7,200)
- Derrick Rose ($6,900/$6,700)
- Chris Paul ($6,900/$6,600)
- Lonzo Ball ($6,300/$6,900)
- Markelle Fultz ($5,500/$5,900)
- Darius Garland ($4,700/$4,800)
Analysis: Damian Lillard and Ben Simmons are strong pay up options tonight, and both have been averaging over 40 fantasy points per game over the last ten games. Lillard does have the blowout concern, and Simmons is going to have to take on more of a workload amongst the other starters with Joel Embiid out. Chris Paul is under $7,000 again, and always has strong upside. He gets Minnesota tonight, who rank 21st against opposing point guards this season. Paul is averaging 38.8 fantasy points per game in the last ten games, and is completely underpriced. Lonzo Ball and Derrick Rose are intriguing options in the same game tonight, which features one of the higher totals of the night. Ball and Rose both continue to play excellent basketball, and are averaging over 30 fantasy points per game in the last ten. Darius Garland is a cheap value tonight, averaging 25 fantasy points per game in the last ten games.
Shooting Guards
- C.J. McCollum ($7,200/$6,100)
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($6,700/$6,300)
- Andrew Wiggins ($6,700/$6,900)
- Buddy Hield ($5,800/$6,100)
- Evan Fournier ($5,600/$6,200)
- Bruce Brown ($4,900/$6,100)
- Josh Hart ($4,400/$5,300)
Analysis: Shooting guard isn’t a heavy position tonight, but there are a few solid priced names to consider. C.J. McCollum is a safe play, but the upside is a bit capped. He is averaging 32 fantasy points per game in the last ten games, and Portland has a a 114 implied total to target, we just need to keep this game close. Andrew Wiggins sees a sky high usage with Town off the court, that is if he sits out again. Wiggins is in a tough matchup, but I like him in GPPs. Buddy Hield has been a bit up and down, which is reflected in the price tag, but I love him tonight in this spot. Orlando ranks 21st against opposing shooting guards this season. Josh Hart and Bruce Brown are still fairly cheap, although Brown’s DK price tag is out of my range. Hart will rely on the Pelicans injuries to get minutes once again.
Small Forwards
- LeBron James ($10,700/$9,500)
- Brandon Ingram ($9,100/$8,100)
- Tobias Harris ($6,700/$6,600)
- Carmelo Anthony ($6,600/$5,400)
- Jaylen Brown ($6,100/$6,300)
- Danilo Gallinari ($6,100/$6,400)
- Trevor Ariza ($4,700/$4,400)
- Cedi Osman ($4,500/$4,000)
Analysis: With Anthony Davis likely out again tonight, it is another night to build around LeBron James. There are not too many expensive studs to pay up for, but James is one of them. His usage goes up over 35% with Davis off the court this season, and obviously Cleveland is a strong matchup for him. Brandon Ingram continues to play well, averaging 43 fantasy points per game over the last ten games. There are a lot of $6,000-$7,000 range guys at this position to consider. Danilo Gallinari is in a great spot against Minnesota, who rank 20th against opposing small forwards. Jarrett Culver, Cedi Osman, and Trevor Ariza are some cheaper small forward options to consider. The Kings injury situation should continue to allow Ariza playing time. Osman is cheap and with Kevin Porter out, minutes will be there. He is averaging over 20 fantasy points per game in the last ten games.
Power Forwards
- Jayson Tatum ($8,000/$7,700)
- Kevin Love ($6,800/$6,700)
- Al Horford ($6,200/$6,800)
- P.J. Washington ($5,700/$5,000)
- Kyle Kuzma ($4,700/$5,900
- Sekou Doumbouya ($4,600/$4,900)
- Khem Birch ($3,900/$4,300)
Analysis: With Anthony Davis and Domantas Sabonis questionable tonight, Davis is the one more than likely to sit. This position is also lacking a bit, but he mid range is enticing. Al Horford’s fantasy appeal is higher with Joel Embiid out. Kevin Love and Jayson Tatum are averaging over 35 fantasy points per game in the last ten games. Love them tonight and the price tags are not too bad either. Love is under $7,000, which his a nice bargain buy. P.J. Washington is in a sneaky good spot, with Portland ranking 29th against opposing power forwards. Kyle Kuzma will continue to be the best value on the board with Davis out, and Cleveland is a good matchup. If you want to dive down further, Doumbouya is getting more minutes and gets a below average New Orleans defense. If Aaron Gordon is out tonight, Khem Birch has cheap upside.
Centers
- Andre Drummond ($10,500/$10,300)
- Hassan Whiteside ($10,000/
- Nikola Vucevic ($8,200/$8,300)
- Steven Adams ($6,600/$6,400)
- Enes Kanter ($5,100/$5,400)
- Dwight Howard ($5,100/$4,700)
- Jaxson Hayes ($4,300/$4,600)
Analysis: Andre Drummond is the top priced center option to consider, averaging 45 fantasy points per game in the last ten games. The Pelicans rank 19th against opposing centers this season. Hassan Whiteside is listed as probable tonight, and this is a great spot against Charlotte, who rank 30th against opposing centers. Nikola Vucevic has similar upside for a cheaper price tag. He is averaging 43 fantasy points per game over the last ten games. Getting cheaper at center for this slate is going to come with some risk. I would recommend just going cheap in tournaments, with most of these names having 30+ fantasy point upside, but a sub 20 fantasy point floor.
