NBA DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks 6/7/19

With only 1 game on the NBA slate we are only able to play “Showdown Captain Mode” where you select one player who cost 1.5x their regular salary but they get you 1.5x the FPTS.

“Captain”

Stephen Curry ($17,700) vs Warriors– Steph couldn’t have played much better than he did in game 3 when he dropped 47 PTS with 8 REB and 7 AST which was good for a staggering 73 FPTS. With Klay Thompson back it’s unlikely we will see #’s this big again but without KD again Curry will have to hit 3s like he did on Wednesday night. He has shot the ball better at home and despite all the attention on him in game 3 he was still able to find some spots and contribute in all aspects of the game. He also comes into this contest with 30+ PTS in 7 of his last 8 games. There isn’t much to say about Curry because he is an MVP caliber player and his $17,700 “captain” price is hefty but after what we’ve seen lately in the playoffs I have no issues taking the hit.

Standard Play

Kyle Lowry ($8,000) vs Warriors– Lowry stuck with the trend of playing better on the road with a 23 PTS 9 AST performance in game 3 on Wednesday night. A portion of that can be attributed to Klay Thompson not guarding him but with Klay hobbled I believe Lowry could have another great game. He has 8+ assists in 3 of his last 4 games and has even recorded at least 1 steal in each of his last 5 games. Lowry was one of the best assist men in the regular season and we are starting to see why in their most recent games. Lowry has also gotten his shot going with 3+ 3 pointers made in the last 4 so I have no issue with this $9,000 price for an all-star PG.

Standard Play

Andre Iguodala ($5,800) vs Raptors– Iguodala continued his consistent fantasy play in game 3 putting up 26 FPTS. He has scored 25+ FPTS in his last 3 games. With KD out Iguodala will likely draw the start once again and he has proven to be a do it all player for this Warriors team down so many players due to injury. We know he can make an impact on the glass and pass the ball well but with 2 three pointers in each of the last 2 games I think Iggy offers a little more value tonight in game 4.

Standard Play

Danny Green ($4,800) vs Warriors– Danny Green broke out in game 4 hitting a Raptors high 6 three pointers. He also added 5 rebounds which was good for a game total of 32.25 FPTS. He is now 11 for his last 22 from behind the line and looks like he has broken out the slump that haunted him earlier in the playoffs. We won’t see huge games from Green but at only $4,800 if he can hit a handful of threes and grab rebound like he has been he will reach value. Green and his finals experience has been pivotal in my opinion for the Raptors and he continues to hit timely shots from behind the arc and play some solid defense. As you start to look down the player list for tonight’s game don’t be worried that Green’s price has increased over $1,000 from game 3.
