Toronto sees its second 2026 World Cup match on Wednesday night with a Group L debut match between Ghana and Panama. Ghana vs. Panama World Cup Match Betting Analysis

Ghana limps into this World Cup losing five of its last six matches. Panama hasn’t been much better, failing to win five of seven matches although three of those five are draws. A draw hit for Panama last match, as they have actually won three of four matches outright when coming off a loss. With Panama as the underdog, an outright win isn’t a bad look with the +0.5-spread market an expensive -150. However, you can hedge Panama and the Draw at a cheaper price, essentially the same as a +0.5-spread cover for the underdog.

The goal totals aren’t too reliable to test, with Ghana hitting the Under in five of seven matches and Panama going Over in three of four. Ghana has also gone Under 1.5 goals scored in seven straight matches, while Panama has scored at least one goals in 11 of 12 matches. Panama has seen the BTS hit in six of seven matches and although Ghana has many trends supporting the Under, have actually seen the BTS hit in three of four matches.

The hedge is there to play at +220 for the Draw and +245 for Panama’s ML instead of taking Panama’s +0.5. If you don’t want to hedge or if you notice odds drop below a price where the hedge is no longer an option, have no fear.
