Point Guard
De’Aaron Fox ($8,100) vs Bulls– Fox has continued to build off his great season last year and has been playing excellent for the Kings up to this point. In his last 5 games Fox is averaging 23 PPG 8.2 RPG and 4.8 RPG while shooting 53.3% from the field. He still isn’t great from behind the arc but he is so athletic he can finish at the rim and get by almost any defense you put in front of him. In those 5 most recent games Fox has put up almost 45 FPPG which is great for a guy at this price and with a lot of solid options at PG in this slate I think going down a bit to grab Fox vs the Bulls will be a good idea.
Shooting Guard
Kevin Huerter ($5,900) vs Thunder– Huerter has slowed down a little bit after being great for a week or so but he is still putting up some solid fantasy performances. He has grabbed 7 rebounds in each of his last two games and has scored over 25 FPTS in 4 of the last 5. He is only shooting 37% in those 5 games but he is shooting 40.7% from 3 still and if Trae Young misses today’s game he could be in for a huge night because he will be forced to play make a little more than usual. Huerter is a solid option tonight with or without Trae Young next to him in the lineup.
Small Forward
Kris Dunn ($5,500) vs Kings– Kris Dunn hasn’t had that good of a season offensively but he continues to start games for the Bulls and is very active on the defensive end, almost 2 SPG in the last 6 games, and he is pretty active on the glass and passing the ball. LaVine is the focal point of Chicago’s offense but with Dunn averaging 6 REB and 3 AST in his last 2 games and scoring over 30 FPPG in those I think it may be time to roster him. There is a lot of risk here for a dud performance but vs the Kings I think he should have ample opportunity to produce.
Power Forward
Pascal Siakam ($7,700) vs Knicks– Siakam still looks a bit rusty after missing some time due to injury but he was named an all-star starter yesterday and he gets to go up against the Knicks which is a gift for everyone involved. Siakam was great in the Raptors last game scoring 18 PTS and 15 REB and 3 AST and it was easily his best game since returning in early January. The Knicks are allowing the 7th most FPTS on DK to opposing big men this season and Siakam is as versatile as they come. His price is relatively low tonight so he may be highly owned but this could be a big game for him to build off his performance the other night.
Center
Domantas Sabonis ($8,600) vs Warriors– Sabonis continues to put up huge numbers for the Pacers with his increased playing time this year. In the last 6 games he is averaging 17.2 PPG 11.7 RPG and 4.8 APG and is shooting a very healthy 58.9% from the field. He has scored over 49.25 FPTS in 2 of his last 3 games and every time he gets on the floor he is a double-double threat. The Warriors have played well vs big men this year but I think the combo of Sabonis and Turner will prove to be too much for them to handle in this game at home. Roster Sabonis with confidence tonight.
Sleeper Play
Brandon Goodwin ($4,000) vs Thunder– This is a play that I am only making if Trae Young isn’t in the lineup tonight. Goodwin showed out in the Hawks last game playing 20 minutes and scoring 19 PTS with 3 REB and 3 AST behind newly acquired PG Jeff Teague. Teague didn’t play well and Goodwin looked like a man on a mission getting a lot of shots up for a team that was starving for some offensive production. The Thunder are allowing the 4th most FPTS to opposing PGs this season on DK so if Trae Young is out I would think about taking a shot with Goodwin given score first mentality.
