Point Guard
Terry Rozier ($7,400) vs Wizards– With starters minutes, Terry Rozier has been having the best season of his short career thus far. He has done even better as of late averaging 18.7 PPG 5.8 RPG and 3.7 APG while shooting a stellar 51% from behind the arc. The shot is falling and Rozier is as streaky as they come. He will be up vs a Wizards team that has no desire to play any defense so he should be running free all game. His assist numbers aren’t where we would like to see but he grabs more rebounds than your average point guard. Look for Rozier to continue his hot shooting at home vs Washington tonight.
Shooting Guard
Duncan Robinson ($4,500) vs Hawks– Duncan Robinson wasn’t expected to start for the Heat at the start of the season but his shooting ability has made him a mainstay in this lineup. He comes into this one averaging 12.3 PPG and 4.5 RPG while shooting 50% from the field and 48.8% from 3 point range. He isn’t going to go out and give you 30 but at this price he is a very good option who can hit the long ball and grab a decent amount of rebounds. The Hawks rank 22nd in the NBA vs Robinson’s position and haven’t been good all year at defense so he should have plenty of open shots tonight at home.
Small Forward
Tobias Harris ($7,000) vs Nuggets– Tobias Harris has been great for the 76ers this season and he has been scoring the ball with ease of the last 6 or so games. In the last 6 he has put up 23.5 PPG and 6.0 RPG which is good for 36.8 FPPG. He has had over 40 FPTS 3 of his last 4 games and that is what I am expecting tonight. The Nuggets have been mediocre guarding opposing forwards this season, 20th in the NBA on DK, and Harris is just playing too good right now for me to pass up. This price is $700 less than we saw in Philly’s last game and even with Embiid back in the lineup there should be plenty of shots to go around.
Power Forward
Davis Bertans ($6,300) vs Hornets– I’m really liking the shooters tonight, another one I will have in my lineup is Davis Bertans of the Wizards. The Wizards offense has been one of the best units in the NBA so far this season and he is a big reason why. Bertans has made 30 3s in his last 6 games and hasn’t hit less than 5 in his last 3 games overall. He rarely shoots from inside the arc and he shoots it at such a high percentage that we can’t be mad about it. He hasn’t scored less than 30 FPTS in each of his last 5 games and with the thinness of the Wizards front court he has been forced to go and rebound a bit recently. At this price I love Bertans in their matchup vs the Hornets tonight.
Center
Hassan Whiteside ($8,000) vs Knicks– It’s a contract year so of course Hassan Whiteside has picked up his play this season for the Blazers. He has been dominant on both sides of the ball averaging 15.8 PPG 12.8 RPG and 4.0 BPG. It’s hard to find those kind of numbers and getting him at only $8,000 vs a Knicks team that starts Taj Gibson at center. He hasn’t scored less than 40 FPTS in 5 of his last 6 games and in two of those he eclipsed the 50 FPTS mark. The matchup is too good here in my opinion so I will have Whiteside in all my lineups.
Sleeper Play
Kevin Huerter ($4,400) vs Heat– Huerter has recently returned from injury and was in the starting lineup for the Hawks in their last game vs the hornets. He was great in that first tune up game scoring 28 FPTS with 9 PTS 6 AST and 2 STLs. He will likely be held at around 25 minutes again tonight but it was a good sign to see him letting it fly from behind the arc, 3/6 on Sunday night. The price here is very fair here especially if he lets it go even more in this game. The Hawks have been searching for any sort of help behind Trae Young and it may have come with Huerter returning from injury.
