Point Guard
Ricky Rubio ($7,200) vs Trail Blazers– Ricky Rubio continues to have a great year for the Suns who are scoring a lot of points on the offensive end. He comes into tonight’s game averaging 19.3 PPG 7.3 APG and 4.0 RPG over his last 4 games and has been shooting it surprisingly well at 58.3% from the field. The Blazers have a bottom tier defense vs opposing guards this season and with Rubio’s ability to distribute to all his teammates his floor is very high in the matchup. While he is shooting it well I would easily roster Rubio at this current price point.
Shooting Guard
Kevin Huerter ($6,000) vs Magic– Huerter didn’t play well without Trae Young in the lineup in their last game only going 2/12 from the field but he did play a vital role in the offense and looked to be one of the primary playmakers in his absence. He is averaging around 24.2 FPPG in his last 5 games and is now playing a full minutes load and looks to be recovered from his previous injuries. Prior to the last game he had been shooting the ball so I am still willing to roster him hoping for a bounce back in a game where he is going to get a lot of touches.
Small Forward
Joe Ingles ($6,100) vs Pistons– Joe Ingles has been so good shooting the ball lately for a Jazz team that is always searching for offense. He comes into this game averaging 35.5 FPPG in the last 5 and is shooting an absurd 55.8% from behind the arc. He has been unstoppable so I am going to have him in my roster until he shows me otherwise. His 3 point shooting is just too much to pass up and with Conley out he has served as a playmaker averaging 5.2 APG as well as 4.8 RPG. Roster Ingles while he is on this hot streak.
Power Forward
Derrick Jones Jr. ($4,400) vs Wizards– Derrick Jones Jr. comes into this game averaging about 30 minutes per game and despite him not being able to shoot behind the arc he is active in other areas to where he can be effective in daily fantasy formats. He still gets to the basket very well and he has grabbed at least 6 rebounds in each of the last 5 games. The Wizards are allowing the most fantasy points to opposing forwards this season on DK so I feel confident Derrick Jones can get some stuff done.
Center
Bam Adebayo ($7,600) vs Wizards– Adebayo has been one of the biggest surprises so far this season and has been doing a little bit of it all like a mini-Jokic. He comes into this one averaging 18 PPG 9.4 RPG and 4.4 APG in each of the last 5 games and against the Wizards it’s usually a free for all for opposing offenses. This should be a fast paced game which I think can favor Adebayo on both sides of the floor due to his athleticism. The price is pretty high but I have to think that it will be worth it in the end.
Sleeper Play
Duncan Robinson ($4,000) vs Wizards– Robinson wasn’t expected to be a big contributor at the start of the season but he has been an excellent piece for them this season with his 3 point shooting. He is averaging about 22.7 FPPG and is shooting 55.6% from behind the arc in his last 5 games so he is on a hot streak and as you can tell I’m riding with a lot of Heat players in their game against the Wizards. He is priced at only $4,000 so if you are looking for a low cost option he can be your guy.
