NBA DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks 6/5/19

With only 1 game on the NBA slate we are only able to play “Showdown Captain Mode” where you select one player who cost 1.5x their regular salary but they get you 1.5x the FPTS.

“Captain”

DeMarcus Cousins ($10,800) vs Raptors– DeMarcus Cousins made his return to the starting lineup in game 2 and played well scoring 11 PTS with 10 REB and 6 AST while playing 28 minutes. His high minute total is impressive to me and with some key players banged up again for game 3 I expect Cousins to score some more points than he did in previous games in this series. He has shown in the past to be able to contribute in all 3 major offensive categories and on the Warriors he could easily rack up 6+ assists again. I like Cousins tonight as my “captain” as the Warriors return home for game 3.

Standard Play

Draymond Green ($$10,600) vs Raptors– Draymond hasn’t been putting up those 60+ point games we saw at the end of the Portland series but he is still a constant triple-double threat and has been consistently scoring over 40 FPTS a night. He was 1 assist short of a triple-double in game 2 and he was able to score the ball much better than game 1. He has shot it better at home this season and has shown throughout the playoffs that he can push the pace to go out and get 15 for himself. Green has been doing too much in all aspects of the game not to roster him in fear of missing out on another one of his triple-doubles because he has 3 in his last 4 games.

Standard Play

Andre Iguodala ($5,600) vs Raptors– Iguodala showed no signs of the apparent injury he suffered in game 1 by putting up 8 PTS 8 REB and 6 AST for a total of 31 FPTS in a game 2 win Iggy has been a bright spot during the entire playoffs playing some high level defense and doing the dirty work on the offensive end. It has been a welcoming sign that he has been able to hit the open 3 pointers as well. Coming off of his 30+ FPTS performance in game 2 his price has jumped $1,000 but given the circumstances with KD still out I don’t think about that too much. Iguodala plays a little like Draymond, obviously not to that level, but he is able to contribute in lots of ways other than scoring and that is why I like him tonight vs the Raptors in game 3.

Standard Play

Serge Ibaka ($4,000) vs Warriors– Ibaka didn’t come through for us in game 1 but in game 2 he played much better scoring 7 PTS and grabbing 10 REBs in only 16 minutes of action. With Cousins out we saw Marc Gasol be less effective so if worse comes to worst we may see Ibaka get some run with the starting unit. Ibaka can stretch the floor and multiple times this postseason he has grabbed a good amount of boards for the amount of time he has been playing. After scoring 24 FPTS in their last game I think at this price Ibaka is worth a look as an under the radar option who has double-double ability.
