Point Guard
Goran Dragic ($6,900) vs Bucks– We had Goran Dragic in game 1 and he came through for us by putting up 27 PTS 6 REB and 5 AST and shot an excellent 60% from the field. Dragic has looked like his old self during the entire Orlando bubble season and has now scored over 20 PTS in straight games. He has also scored over 42.5 FPTS in 2 of his last 3 games. I think we have to ride the momentum here vs a Heat team that stole a game from the Bucks in the first game of the series.
Shooting Guard
Dennis Schroder ($6,400) vs Rockets– The Thunder have needed offense a lot in this series vs the Rockets and Dennis Schroder has been key off the bench for them. In 9 games vs OKC this season Schroder is averaging 18.9 PPG 3.9 RPG and 3.6 APG and he has been a key option for them whenever he is on the floor. He didn’t have the best game on Monday but I expect things to turn around and Schroder will be at his best in a game 7 that will surely be one to watch closely.
Small Forward
Khris Middleton ($8,100) vs Heat– The Bucks offense didn’t look the greatest in their game 1 loss to the Heat, but Khris Middleton played himself a great game. Middleton finished the night with 28 PTS 6 REB and 5 AST while shooting 50% from the field and from behind the arc. He does a little bit of everything and it showed on Monday with his 47 FPTS performance. He has now scored 47+ FPTS in each of his last two games and seems to be getting back in the groove on the offensive end after a couple of rough games to start the playoffs. With so much attention on Giannis in this series I think Middleton could quietly put together a string of good performances.
Power Forward
Danilo Gallinari ($6,100) vs Rockets– Gallo has been very up and down in this series but he did play very well on Monday scoring 25 PTS to go along with 5 REB. With his recent struggles there is a lot of risk here but if he plays like he did in their last game he should be of good value here in a 2 game slate. Gallo isn’t shy shooting the ball and has scored over 20 PTS in 3 of the 6 games so far in this series. At $6,100 I think he is a very solid option we just have to hope he gets in a groove early and his shots are falling like they did on Monday night.
Center
Steven Adams ($5,700) vs Rockets– In case you can’t tell I like a lot of Thunder players vs the Rockets tonight. Steven Adams in this series has been a beast on the glass and in the last 3 games of this series he is averaging a double-double with 10 PPG and 12 RPG. He won’t go out and score 20 but vs the small Rockets lineup he has been able to take advantage on the glass on both ends of the floor. At only $5,700 if you want to roster some other big names I think Adams is a very solid option.
Sleeper Play
Luguentz Dort ($4,000) vs Rockets– Will Dort knock down some 3s tonight??? Who knows, but what he does do is continue to shoot the ball. Chris Paul has come out to support Dort saying he will always be behind him which is an encouraging sign. His minutes have dropped a bit as the series has gone further but he continues to shoot the ball a lot. The Rockets are leaving him open and he made them pay in game 6 by scoring 13 points and hitting a couple 3s. We know the risk here but he has 20+ FPTS in 3 of the last 4 games so it’s worth a shot in my opinion.
