As we get closer to the big game, it’s a good idea to monitor the Super Bowl 60 injury report before placing any wagers. While there aren’t any major surprises, it’s worth noting to see who is in and out, and which players may not be at 100% for this game.

On this page, we’re going to focus on players who are currently listed on the injury report for both the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. So, without further ado, let’s dive into the Super Bowl 60 injury report.

We’ll mention the injuries and provide our prediction on how they could affect the player. To note: I didn’t include any players who are listed but aren’t actually injured and missed practice only for rest. Keep in mind that the injury report is being updated daily as we get closer to the game, and all information on this page is accurate as of February 3.

The biggest news here is Maye’s inclusion on the injury report. Head coach Mike Vrabel downplayed the shoulder issue, so there doesn’t seem to be much concern there. As for the illness, by game time, Maye should be good to go. I don’t think either of these injuries will affect his play during the game.

Hollins is dealing with an abdominal injury. The veteran wideout returned from a four-week absence in the AFC Championship Game, hauling in two receptions for 51 yards. There’s no reason to believe that Hollins will miss the Super Bowl, since he returned in the last game. With that said, it’s a tough matchup for this deep threat against a Seahawks defense that deploys two-high coverage at the highest rate in the NFL.

Spillane is dealing with an ankle issue, but he only played 13 snaps against the Broncos, so he’s just a depth piece on this defense. Landry missed the last game vs the Broncos, so he’s more at risk of missing the Super Bowl. This is an edge rusher who racked up 8.5 sacks this season, so his absence would be felt in this one.

Farmer is some depth up front who has been on IR for the last few weeks. Jennings is the third-string running back who won’t see any offensive touches, even if he does suit up. Munford Jr. is the main backup for tackles Will Campbell and Morgan Moses. He should be good to go for this game as insurance in case Campbell or Moses gets hurt during the game.

Knight is a depth offensive tackle, while Russell (FB) and Chazz Surratt (LB) play on special teams. There’s little concern about Cross missing this game, as he was able to play against the Rams. As for Darnold, he’s been playing with this oblique issue for the last two games, and it hasn’t affected his performance at all, especially in a dominant NFC Championship Game.

Saubert is a blocking tight end who can help in the running game, but he should be good to go for this one. Bobo scored a touchdown in the NFC Championship, so he’s likely able to play here barring a setback. Jones is the primary backup for Charles Cross and Abraham Lucas at offensive tackle.

Key Betting Takeaways from Super Bowl Injury Report

Obviously, the biggest concern is Maye’s injury. If you want to apply a betting angle to this shoulder issue, perhaps you can focus on the longest completion props. As mentioned above, the Seahawks run two-high coverage at the highest rate in the NFL. This defense allowed only 6.03 yards per attempt this year, which ranked 1st in the NFL. With safeties playing back deep, it’s harder for quarterbacks to air it out downfield. Add in a shoulder issue, and it could be a tough spot for Maye to make big plays.

We can apply this to Hollins as well. This is a wideout who primarily runs deeper routes. With the Seahawks as one of the top teams in limiting big passing plays, and Hollins’ abdominal injury, it could be the right spot to hit up his under longest reception props.

As for Darnold, I’m not worried about the oblique issue because we just saw him absolutely shred the Rams’ defense.
