DraftKings NFL Daily Fantasy Cash Game Picks Week 13

Quarterbacks

Kirk Cousins ($6,400) vs Jaguars- People like to hate on Kirk Cousins but from a fantasy perspective he has been great in recent weeks. He’s scored 20+ FPTS in 3 of his last 4 games including a 30 FPTS performance last week vs the Panthers. He should get another opportunity to thrive this week vs the Jaguars who rank 29th in passing yards allowed per game so far this season. It should also help out a lot if Adam Thielen is able to come off the COVID-19 list. Even if Dalvin Cook is featured heavily in this game, Cousins has proved he can put up big numbers.

Philip Rivers ($5,900) vs Texans- Another QB who finds himself written off a lot of weeks is Philip Rivers. Rivers has scored 18+ FPTS in the last 3 games and has been one of the most solid middle-tier fantasy QBs this year. The Texans haven’t had much success stopping opposing QBs, 28th on DK this year, and are missing Bradley Roby who was recently suspended for 6 games. With 3 games in a row of over 36 pass attempts, I am confident rostering Philip Rivers in this matchup.

Running Backs

Nick Chubb ($7,700) vs Titans- For the 2nd straight week I am going to have Nick Chubb on my roster. He came through for us last week rushing for 144 yards 1 TD and adding 3 catches for 32 yards. He now has scored over 20 FPTS in 2 of the 3 games since his return from IR and hasn’t rushed for less than 114 yards in any of those games. He will have another juicy matchup this week vs the Titans, who are allowing the 7th most FPTS to opposing RBs on DK this season. The Browns love to run the ball too much and Chubb has been too good to pass up here, especially at this price.

David Montgomery ($5,500) vs Lions- Montgomery returned to the lineup in week 12 and played great vs the Packers rushing for 103 yards on 11 carries and adding 5 receptions for 40 yards and a TD. A lot of yards from Montgomery came from a 57-yard run but given the struggles of the Bears passing game at some points, they still turn to Montgomery often if the game is close. The price is great vs the Lions, who allow 133.4 yards rushing per game, so with some recent rest, I would take a long look at David Montgomery.

Wide Receivers

A.J. Brown ($7,600) vs Browns- With all the hype around DK Metcalf a lot of us have forgotten about his fellow Ole Miss teammate, A.J. Brown. Brown has 8 TDs in his last 8 games and has continued to be the #1 option for QB Ryan Tannehill. He is a big play waiting to happen and he should be able to thrive once again vs a Browns secondary that has struggled at times and is a bit banged up a the moment. Brown is elite after the catch and I have no reason to think he can’t produce again vs Cleveland at home.

Allen Robinson II ($6,700) vs Lions- The Bears passing game hasn’t been good at all this season but Allen Robinson has had himself some solid games this year. Last week he caught 8 of 13 targets for 74 yards and 2 TDs vs the Packers. He now has 9+ targets in 3 of the last 3 games this season. He was solid in the Bears previous matchup vs the Lions catching 5 balls for 74 yards on the day. No matter who is at QB, Robinson is one of the few good options on the offensive side of the ball for Chicago so he should be fed early and often in this game.

Tight End

Hunter Henry ($4,800) vs Patriots- Hunter Henry hasn’t had the best of seasons but it looks like he is getting more acquainted with rookie QB Justin Herbert. He had a season-high 10 targets last week and caught 7 balls for 67 yards. The Patriots have been solid vs the TE this season but with Keenan Allen going up against Stephon Gilmore, Herbert will be forced to look elsewhere at times and I think that guy will be Hunter Henry. Coming off of 3 straight games with 13+ FPTS I see no issues with rostering Henry, even if he is the 4th highest priced TE of the day.

Defense

Seattle Seahawks D/ST ($3,300) vs Giants- The Seahawks defense has not been very good as a whole this year, but over the past couple of weeks it seems like they may have figured something out. They added Carlos Dunlap who has improved the pass rush mightily, and this showed last week vs the Eagles when they recorded 6 sacks of Carson Wentz. Colt McCoy will likely be starting for the Giants this week and I think Seattle will be able to cause him some havoc. The Seahawks have a high floor in this matchup and if Colt struggles in his first start in a long while, they will be able to take advantage.
