DraftKings NFL Daily Fantasy Cash Game Picks Week 4

Quarterbacks
Josh Allen ($7,300) vs Raiders- Josh Allen has taken a huge step forward this year and his fantasy performances have shown it. He hasn’t scored less than 33+ FPTS in any game this year and has been equally as productive on the ground as he has been passing through the air. He will be up against a Raiders team whose defense has improved, but as a whole, it is still a bottom half of the league unit in my opinion. Allen just provides so much that it’s hard to pass up on him at this price.
Ryan Fitzpatrick ($5,400) vs Seahawks- Fitzpatrick has had his bad days for the Dolphins but he has shown that if he gets in a rhythm he can be a very good fantasy QB. He is averaging over 25 FPTS in each of the last two games and he did not turn the ball over in either, which is encouraging. The Dolphins will be up against a potent Seahawks offense which should encourage lots of passing in order for the Dolphins to keep up. Seattle ranks dead last on DK vs opposing QBs this season so there is a lot of value here with Fitzpatrick at $5,400 especially if the game goes according to plan.
Running Backs
Austin Ekeler ($7,100) vs Buccaneers- The Chargers only put up 16 points vs the Panthers but he was able to rack up 31 FPTS still. He grabbed a season-high 11 catches to go along with his 12 carries for 59 yards and a touchdown. Ekeler will never be a 100 yard a game rusher, but his pass-catching ability is unmatched and it looks like Herbert is learning that throwing to him in the flat will only mean good things. I expect more of the same this week vs a Buccaneers team that ranks 20th vs RBs this season and let Alvin Kamara do some good things to them in week 1.
David Montgomery ($5,500) vs Colts- David Montgomery hasn’t had the best season but I think the Bears move to Nick Foles will benefit Montgomery the most. Assuming Foles will be successful in the passing game, that should open up the inside more for Montgomery who has been facing stacked boxes all season long. The Colts run defense has been solid this season as a whole, but I think at this price getting sure-fire starting back is a great value. He should also see some more action in the passing game with the news of Tarik Cohen tearing his ACL.
Wide Receivers
DK Metcalf ($6,800) vs Dolphins- The Seahawks pass offense has been unleashed this season and DK Metcalf is one of the many beneficiaries. He hasn’t scored less than 19.2 FPTS in a game this year and if he didn’t try to coast into the endzone he could have had another TD last week vs the Cowboys. Metcalf is a big play waiting to happen and I see no reason for this change this week vs a bottom tier Raiders defense. Metcalf should be worked into the offense early and often and have no issues paying the $6,800 for him this week.
Brandon Aiyuk ($5,000) vs Eagles- Aiyuk has been a little banged up but in week 3 he was fully unleashed. He caught 5 of 8 targets for 70 yards and had 3 carries for 31 yards and a touchdown. He has above-average speed and with the injuries on the Niners offense, they are going to need him to produce. It is unclear who will start at QB for the 49ers as of this writing but I think he will be able to produce vs the Eagles defense either way. At this price, he is worth a long look.
Tight End
Dalton Schultz ($4,300) vs Browns- The Cowboys offense is one of the best units in the league and with some injuries Dalton Schultz is now the #1 TE. He has been very productive since taking over the job. Schultz has 16 targets in the last two games and he has also been looked at by Dak in the endzone a couple of times. The Browns have struggled to guard the TE this season, ranking 30th of 32 teams against them in DK this season. There is a lot of uncertainty at this position so getting Schultz at this price is a win.
Defense
Los Angeles Rams D/ST ($3,900) vs Giants- The Rams defense hasn’t been insanely productive on DK this year but I think that could change vs a Giants team that is banged up on offense and have shown no signs of life early in the season. After 4 sacks last week Aaron Donald should be able to cause havoc for New York and their lack of a run game could be bad for them. They come in as the 2nd highest priced defense but as we saw with the Colts last week, paying a premium could be the difference between a big win or a big loss.
