Quarterbacks
Kyler Murray ($6,500) vs Bucs– Murray played well vs a really tough 49ers defense last Thursday night putting up 23.04 FPTS while throwing for 241 yards and 2 touchdowns and added 34 rushing yards. He is always a threat with his legs but I think this week it will be with the arm. The Buccaneers pass defense is horrible, allowing the most FPTS to opposing QBs this season, and I think Kliff and Kyler will be able to take advantage. The Cardinals have weapons with Fitz and Kirk on the outside so if the line can hold up, which I think they will, Kyler should have a great day throwing the rock.
Daniel Jones ($5,700) vs Jets– We all saw Daniel Jones struggle on Monday night vs the Cowboys but he will get the chance to go up against a much weaker defensive unit this Sunday. Jones has shown flashes this year but he has struggled with his consistency but if he can get it going he will be very valuable in this spot. He’s thrown a TD in every start he has had this season and is a threat with his legs. The Jets like to blitz a lot so if Jones can get out of the pocket he will be due for some big runs and he has shown that he can throw a good enough ball to give his WRs a chance to make a play. It’s a scary play but I think Jones floor is reasonably high this week.
Running Backs
Mark Ingram II ($7,100) vs Bengals– Ingram showed up in a huge way for the Ravens on Sunday night rushing for 115 yards on only 15 carries vs the Patriots defense that is known as one of the best defenses in football. Ingram continues to be heavily involved in this run heavy offense and against the Bengals we could see him early and often especially if the game gets out of hand and Baltimore just runs out the clock. Ingram is a powerful runner who is a TD threat every week so paying the $7,100 price for him vs a Cincy team that ranks 30th against the run in DK this season is worth it in my opinion.
Marlon Mack ($7,000) vs Dolphins– Marlon Mack ran for 89 yards last week vs a tough Steelers defense and I love him this week vs a Miami defense that hasn’t really been able to stop anyone this season. They are giving up the 2nd most fantasy points to running backs this season and when Mack gets it going he can be a real threat. It’s unclear if Jacoby Brissett will be playing this week but either way they will likely lean on Mack a little more than usual this week. I love Mack in this spot on Sunday afternoon.
Jamaal Williams ($5,200) vs Panthers– Jamaal Williams doesn’t receive a lot of carries but he has been playing a little bit of a James White type of role out of the backfield for the Packers. He has 5 touchdowns in his last 4 games and 4 of them have been receiving. In PPR formats owners love Williams and they seem to continue using him despite the presence of Aaron Jones who is a much better pure runner out of the backfield. Williams relies on the pass catching but you can’t deny the results and that is why he will be in my lineup this week.
Wide Receivers
Chris Godwin ($7,400) vs Cardinals– Godwin’s production has slowed a bit over the last two weeks but he is still targeted a lot, 17 times in the last two weeks. I think we will see a huge game from both Evans and Godwin this week but for the price I think Godwin offers a little more value. Jameis isn’t afraid to feed Godwin, which we saw earlier this year, and the Cardinals secondary leaves a lot to be desired. This could be a real high scoring matchup and Godwin is going to be one of the players that reaps the rewards this week.
Emmanuel Sanders ($6,800) vs Seahawks– Sanders has fit right in through his first 2 games with the 49ers catching 2 TDs and has been targeted 14 times. He will only get more comfortable with Jimmy G and it allows the Niners to have a threat in the passing game if they run game is slowed. They will always be run first but if Seattle sells out to stop it this week their secondary has been shaky which should allow Sanders to get loose for some big plays on Monday night. His price continues to rise but I think anything sub $7,000 is still good value for the pro bowl wide out.
DeVante Parker ($4,800) vs Colts– Once again DeVante Parker was great catching 4 balls for 57 yards and pulling down another touchdown grab vs the Jets. He now has 4 TDs in his last 5 games and continued his streak of either recording 50+ yards receiving or a touchdown in every game for the Dolphins this season. Miami lost Preston Williams for the season last week so Parker is easily the most talent WR left on the Dolphins roster. He will be fed early and often by Fitzpatrick especially since Miami lost their starting RB for 4 games due to suspension after already trading Kenyan Drake to Arizona. Parker offers great value at this price vs the Colts.
Tight End
Vance McDonald ($3,800) vs Rams– McDonald played a very good game last week vs the Colts catching 5 of 7 targets for 30 yards and a touchdown. Mason Rudolph likes to dunk it off to his WRs and TEs so he should get a good amount of looks as the game goes by. With Jalen Ramsey likely on Juju for most of the night we could see Rudolph be forced to dump it off to guys like McDonald and in the red zone he is a big target who could be open on some play action plays so if you don’t roster one of the top TEs I think McDonald is worth a look.
Defense
Buffalo Bills D/ST ($2,900) vs Browns– The Bill have a great secondary and have been elite at points this season. They will be going on the road to take on a Browns team that hasn’t been able to get going on offense and has been prone to turnovers. The Browns offense line has also struggled and the Bills have 13 sacks in their last 4 games so they will be ready. Getting the Bills at this price is a steal in my opinion even if the Browns can put together a good amount of yardage.
