Ricky Rubio ($7,400) vs Hawks– Rubio came through for us in his last game putting up 21 PTS with 10 AST and 4 REBs and went 3/6 from behind the arc. The scoring has been a pleasant surprise lately for the point guard who people usually think is just a passer. He has multiple 3 pointers in 3 of his last 4 games and overall has really gotten what he has wanted on the offensive end. Tonight he will be up against Trae Young in a matchup between two point guards who aren’t very gifted defensively. If they match up against one another I think both guys could have huge offensive nights.
Spencer Dinwiddie ($5,700) vs Nuggets– I love Dinwiddie tonight because I think he will be forced to do more on the offensive end with the news that Caris LeVert will be out a couple weeks with an injury. He is already averaging 17.1 PPG on the season and in the last 4 games he is averaging 31.3 FPTS. That number will rise in this one and we should expect some very high volume shooting especially with Kyrie banged up a little bit as well. Dinwiddie has only averaged around 5 assists a night but I trust him to be valuable at this price point still vs the Nuggets.
Marcus Morris ($6,400) vs Mavs– Morris has been a pleasant surprise for the Knicks this season contributing a lot of offense for the rebuilding squad. Morris is averaging 21.2 PGP and 6.8 RPG on 40% shooting from behind the arc in the last 5 games for New York. They will take on the Mavs tonight and the last time they faced off this season Morris was superb putting up 29 PTS and 9 REBs. The Mavs are weak defensively vs forwards so I expect more of the same from Morris who we know will always get a bunch of shots up during the course of the game.
Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,700) vs Bulls– Can’t really go wrong with Giannis here vs a Bulls club that is not the best defensively. Giannis comes into this game averaging 68.7 FPTS with 34.6 PPG 15.0 RPG 6.0 APG while shooting 40% from the field in the last 5 games. He is also shooting an outstanding 42.9% from behind the arc. If he can get that shot going consistently it is over for the rest of the league. He is priced extremely high tonight but I think it will be hard to compete without him dropping around 60 FPTS in your lineup.
Taj Gibson ($4,400) vs Mavs– Another Knick I like tonight is Taj Gibson, his numbers aren’t anything to write home about but he has seen a significant boost in playing time with the injury to Mitchell Robinson and if he is out again I would have him in your lineup. That means I would avoid if Robinson is in the lineup as well so double check that. The Mavs are allowing the 7th most FPTS to opposing big men this season and in my opinion they lack athleticism at the position when they are starting Maxi Kleber. Gibson is coming off a 17 PTS performance so he has shown signs of life. I would start either Robinson or Gibson in this one depending on who gets the starting nod.
Chandler Hutchison ($3,400) vs Bucks– Bulls starting SF Otto Porter Jr. is expected to be out again due to injury which means we could see Chandler Hutchison in the starting lineup again vs the Bucks tonight. He has played pretty well over the last 5 games playing around 20 minutes and has racked up 15.4 FPTS a night. I think that will increase with his playing time because he has been shooting extremely well 12/22 from the field and 3/5 from 3 point range. Hutchison won’t go out and get your 40 FPTS but due to the injuries I think there is a scenario where we see him put up 25+ tonight and in this price range that is all we can ask for.
