The Texans are a mess with no clear direction for the future. Right now, Deshaun Watson looks like he has taken his last snap with the team, so it will most likely be long-time journeyman Tyrod Taylor starting with their new rookie QB Davis Mills backing him up. The Texans also have a crowded running back room as David Johnson, Phillip Lindsay, and Mark Ingram are all capable of earning the starting running back job. David Johnson is probably the favorite for the job, but he’s not better than those other players so keep an eye on that. The receiving core for the Texans is nothing special as Brandin Cooks and Randall Cobb are probably their best options on the roster. The battle for snaps at wide receiver is going to be interesting as there are other players like Andre Roberts, Keke Coutee, and rookie Nico Collins who have a legitimate chance of claiming a starting spot on a weak roster.
