The Arizona Diamondbacks made a big move over the offseason, adding Starling Marte to the team. While they are not a flashy roster, they have a lot of talent. Eduardo Escobar, Ketel Marte, and David Peralta are some strong names. This group has some depth as well, and the starting rotation was quickly reworked to be a good one. Arizona signed Madison Bumgarner over the offseason, and trading for Zac Gallen gives them a good young pitcher for now and the future. After trading Paul Goldschmidt last year, the Diamondbacks received Carson Kelly and Luke Weaver who have fit right into their spots. Arizona was in need of a catcher, and they have a couple of platoon bats to back them up. Christian Walker and Jake Lamb will likely platoon at first base. Adding Kole Calhoun gives them another left-handed power bat, who is coming over from the Los Angeles Angels.
