Updated:

The Royals World Series team feels like ages ago, and there are only a few names from that roster currently still here. Salvador Perez is the face of the infield right now, and he missed 2022 with an injury, but is back strong for 2022. Adalberto Mondesi is the young speedster who was tops in stolen bases last season. Kansas City made a move for Maikel Franco this offseason, who failed to live up to the hype in Philadelphia. He will hope a new change of scenery can get him going. Whit Merrifield and Jorge Soler are to of the bigger keys to the offense, as Soler blew up in the power department. Merrfield is more of a well rounded hitter, who also has some speed. The rotation much like most of the AL Central is not a good one. Stilling rolling with Danny Duffy as their number one, they will likely be ranked low in pitching most of the year.
