Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul injured his left hamstring in the dying minutes of Game 5 and did not return to action. Paul provided 20 points to go along with seven rebounds while dishing out six assists without a turnover in this one. Paul made some big shots down the stretch before the injury and will receive treatment on Friday. The injury is to his left hamstring as during the season it was the right one that gave him issues, so keep an eye on his status leading up to Game 6.
Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul finished with 27 points on an excellent 10-for-20 shooting from the floor to help secure his club's Game 4 victory. Paul was instrumental in the Rockets fourth quarter, as they finished the game with a 25-12 run to secure the victory. A lot of Paul's value is in his assist production, but we have seen this take a major hit in this series (4.3 assists a game to 7.9 during the regular season). With the series shifting back to Houston for Game 5, we can expect another big offensive night for the veteran, who is looking to get to the NBA Finals for the first time in his career.
Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul could not get his stroke going in the Game 3 blowout loss. Paul managed just 13 points on 5-for-16 shooting to go along with 10 rebounds and just four assists in this one. The Golden State Warriors have done an excellent job controlling the Point God's ball distribution duties as he is averaging just 4.3 assists in this serious, but is averaging an impressive 8.3 rebounds. Paul entered this game with some injury issues that he later shrugged off, so we will need to see how he pulls up after this one in regards to his status for Game 4.
Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul notched a double-double, but it was not enough as his club lost Game 1. Paul was a beast on the glass by grabbing 11 rebounds and poured in 23 points on 8-for-17 shooting. Paul only managed three assists but again kept his turnovers down by recording only one and just two total in his last four games. The rebounds were a bonus on the night, but the Rockets will need more dimes out of their Point God to make him a decent play for Game 2.
Houston Rocket's point guard Chris Paul is eager to get to his first-ever NBA finals and it has shown in his amazing play this postseason. Paul has upped nearly all of his stats in the postseason with only assists taking a minor dip from 7.9 to 6.4 a night. In the three regular-season games against the Golden State Warriors, Paul put up an impressive 21.7 points, 8.7 assists and 8.7 rebounds in those contests. Paul will have the task of slowing down Steph Curry and will not be shying away. Paul is worth a roster spot in Game 1 as he has been playing very well lately and is showing no signs of slowing down.
