The Patriots snap counts are always a fun one to breakdown, and we say that sarcastically. The Patriots have six capable wide receivers of getting snaps at any moment, and four of their runnings backs will most certainly get playing time throughout the year. New England adding Jordan Matthews isn't a guarantee to fill in Brandin Cooks snaps from 2017, as Malcolm Mitchell, Phillip Dorsett, and Cordarrelle Patterson all could see some snaps given their deep ball similarities to Cooks. As far as the backs go, we will be looking at a timeshare as usual, as they even added Sonny Michel through the draft. With all of them having different skillsets, game theory will often play key to predicting these snaps and touches.
